When I asked my two teenagers (19 & 17) what their favorite part of our recent month in Spain was, both of them independently said that their Spanish lessons with Miguel were a highlight. We are complete beginners as native English speakers from Australia and we all had a lot of fun learning from Miguel as a family. We met in the relaxed atmosphere of a lovely café in Russafa. He showed up prepared for lessons and happily answered the many questions my son and daughter had - not just about language but also about Spanish culture. He helped us distinguish between different types / localities when it comes to Spanish. He built our confidence to use what we had learned. He practised with us as we learned. And he encouraged our curiosity. Miguel is a lovely, kind man and we look forward to continuing our lessons with him online now that we are back in Aus. I had been searching for electronic music production lessons for my son, who loves creating music on FL Studio, for some time. My son really enjoyed the lesson and found Jim's teaching style engaging and interactive. Jim was able to explain complex concepts in a way that was easy to understand, and he tailored the lesson to my son's interests, which made the learning experience even more enjoyable. My son left the lesson feeling inspired and motivated to continue with Jim as his tutor. As a parent, I am pleased to have found such a skilled and dedicated tutor, and I would highly recommend Jim to anyone looking for high-quality electronic music production lessons.

Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.
