I teach Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) in addition to Levantine and Gulf dialects. Which one should I choose? It depends on your needs. If you are solely interested in speaking, then I recommend Levantine or Gulf dialects. If you aim to master Arabic comprehensively, then Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) would be more suitable. What is the 30-hour program? The 30-hour program is designed to help you achieve conversational fluency and effectively express yourself and your needs. What comes after the 30 hours? If you are enrolled in the Dialects course, we will continue refining your speaking skills and expanding your vocabulary during lessons. Additionally, new words will be introduced during conversation sessions to aid in memorization and usage within sentences. For those on the Formal Arabic (Fus’ha) track, we will delve deeper into grammar and further develop your understanding of the language. How many hours a week do you recommend? So far, I have had two sessions with Hamid and the experience has been pleasant. I find that Hamid was well prepared before the classes began. He made his own notes, schedule and was very organised with his approach as a tutor. Professional, clear about his teaching methods etc,. As a tutor, he is very patient and explains everything with a simple and understandable analogies. I am happy with his teaching and hopefully will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

I have taken my first lesson with Lynette and it was a great experience. I have been singing for some time at a choir, but have no formal training and want to learn the fundamental technique, and also work on some of the pieces we sing at the choir. The lesson was very practical, dynamic and she pays great attention to detail. After the class I could feel the improvement on the areas we have covered and felt much more confident on my skills. Highly recommended!
