Trusted teacher: Hello! I have been teaching classes continuously for more than 10 years and I would like to explain what you can find in a class with me! - To begin with, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need. For example, we will not put the same level of demand if you want to play for pleasure at home without haste or if you want to do some entrance exams to musical studies (although always with the same good rigor). The needs of each student can vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, the postural work, the repertoire... - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed is not equal to undemanding or rigorous, just that we will try not to resort to military methods, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to note is that my methods are very dynamic and with special emphasis on the development of the ear and musicality. No reading, spitting and changing songs. I try to avoid methods that focus too much on the continuous reading of scores without memorizing, listening or understanding what is being done and why, especially so that later you can make your own aesthetic decisions and feel ownership of your performance. Alert! Maybe I'll even make you sing. - Last but not least, it should be noted that given my training (I studied classical music and modern music and jazz at the Taller de Músics) my tendency will be to give the same importance to different types of music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but for me we can go from baroque to blues, from blues to Haydn's sonatas, from Haydn to bebop and from bebop to Michael Jackson. Why not? If you like what you have read, do not hesitate to contact me. Learning to play the cello is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you!

Hello! I'm Aurora, nice to meet you ☺️ A graduate of East Asian Studies (Autonomous University of Barcelona), I have been giving private lessons in languages such as English and Spanish for seven years, and I have been teaching Korean for two years. I also have experience as a basic-level Korean teacher at the Sejong Institute in Barcelona. In my undergraduate degree, I majored in Japanese and Korean language and literature. I have been living in Korea for two years, during which I have obtained TOPIK 6 and C2 level of Korean at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree to obtain the official title of Korean teacher. I think that not being a native speaker of the language and having to learn it from scratch has provided me with very important tools to try to help Spanish speakers approach a language as different as Korean. In my classes, I adapt to the pace and needs of each student, without putting pressure. With me you can work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing comprehension, and we can focus on one of them in particular if required. Depending on the student's interests (K-pop, K-dramas, Korean food, traditional culture, etc.), I try to make classes more enjoyable by creating practice exercises related to the topic of interest. :) With experience as a student in the TOPIK, I have also worked as an exam assistant, so I also offer to help prepare for TOPIK exams. I offer ONLINE or HOME classes. Are you up to learn Korean with me?~🇰🇷 한국어를 같이 공부합시다! (Let's study Korean together!)

Trusted teacher: In bioprocessing you cannot have the cake and eat it too. Constantly, you need to make choices about which unit operation is best suited for a particular application and what are the trade offs. Because of so many factors that guide this decision, it can be daunting for starting biotech/bioprocess students to be overwhelmed. I was definitely overwhelmed in my 1st year of uni. But after 5 years studying the subject, I am here to help you to think like an engineer and make informed choices based on the context of the process and product. In my class, I will teach you the theoretical background behind bioreactors and common unit operations (e.g. filtration, centrifugation, chromatography) and how to implement them into a bioprocess. This class is best suited for university students (bachelor or master), people joining/switching industry or just people interested in how pharmaceuticals are made! If you are a university student, we can can discuss your own assignments or projects. My tutoring style is discussion-based. We will have a conversation about the subjects rather than a lecture, which will give you the tools and confidence to better synthesize the course content and present your ideas in a specific manner. I create my own materials for each class, including definitions, calculations, diagrams and past-exam questions. I use a touchscreen tablet to interactively annotate our class worksheets, draw P&IDs, structures and mechanisms, write down chemical reactions and step-by-step calculations. For any questions, please feel free to contact me!

Trusted teacher: Maths is a subject which is often hated by many people as it is viewed as 'difficult' to understand. However, understanding Maths is not as hard as it may seem and can be an amazing achievement for many. Even now when I finally understand a mathematical concept I feel a huge sense of achievement! I pride myself on being a very personable tutor, connecting with my students personality-wise. All my students have said they feel comfortable and calm around me, which is something I believe significantly helps them achieve their goals! They know that even if they get an answer wrong, with me, it's okay because we'll work on it together in the best, most efficient way possible. Aside from Maths, I love to travel, sing, dance, read self-improvement books and invest! I am passionate about teaching young people about investing, since I think it is an important concept to understand and not gate-keep. All lessons are based on previous classes and what you personally feel you need to work on in that particular lesson. We'll also go through exam papers from the very beginning, so you know what's ahead. Everything is well prepared and well thought of to ensure you get the most out of each and every session. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions :) A few of my personal achievements in Maths have been: - Obtaining a First Class Honours in my Maths degree - Obtaining 100 in C3 - Obtaining 96 in M1 (I found Mechanics extremely difficult at first!) - Achieving an A* at GCSE - Tutoring over 50 students to meet their Maths goals over 10+ years! -A Level Modules Studied: C1, C2, C3, C4, S1, S2, M1, M2, D1, FP1, FP2, FP3 -Degree Modules Studied: Calculus and Analysis 1-3, Linear Algebra 1-3, Differential Equations, Geometry, Statistics, Probability, Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Mathematics, Theory of Linear Algebra, Advanced VBA and Excel, Business Mathematics. -Masters Modules Studied: Accounting, International Finance, Quantitative Methods in Finance, Valuation, Derivatives, Fixed Income Analysis, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets. Claudia - Barcelona£30
Trusted teacher: Hello! I am Claudia and for almost 10 years I have dedicated myself to learning and teaching languages traveling through Europe. In addition to being a language coach, I am a trainer of intercultural and cross-cultural communication If you haven't found out yet, communication is my life! Thanks to my travels and my professional experience, I have understood that learning a language means first of all understanding its contexts of use and the society around it. For this reason, I use cultural content as stimuli to work on the linguistic and communicative skills of my students. In fact, my students become consumers of culture, music, current affairs, cinema, series, shorts and everything that can help them experience the realities of different languages. I speak five languages, two of which I have learned on a self-taught basis. Also, with a BA in Languages and a MA in Linguistics, I am a specialist in language, mental management and planning. I consider learning a language as a project, because it will always be connected to another larger / wider project. Maybe to move to another country or prepare for a job promotion ... My students are students, individuals, company employees and expatriates who need to develop a methodology to learn languages effectively. The services I offer are different / diverse: individual or group coaching, training for companies, preparation of talks and meetings, fluency training, and other linguistic services such as proofreading and writing in Italian, French and English. The first step to understand what type of service you need is to contact me to arrange a first interview. What will happen in said interview? I will ask you several questions that will help me to make an analysis of your linguistic profile, evaluate your level and establish your learning objectives. On the same occasion, I will explain my methodology and the tools that we will use at work. We will also discuss the type of coaching (online or face-to-face), the schedules, the prices, and the possible offers. After the first interview, you will receive a report with a personalized pedagogical proposal and a budget. It doesn't matter where you live, I'll wait for you in Barcelona or online So what, do you sign up?

Sanja
Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.
