Trusted teacher: (Important! The schedules are now closing with the students I already have, so it is difficult to specify a definitive schedule for September) Hello! I have been teaching uninterruptedly for more than 10 years and I would like to explain to you what you can find in a class with me: - To begin, the most important thing is to know what you want to achieve. I would like to focus the classes according to what you need or want, from learning for pure pleasure from scratch to preparing for entrance tests or focusing professionally. The needs of each student may vary the methodology, the way of organizing the study sessions, etc. - Once we know what we want to achieve and by when, classes will begin in a relaxed atmosphere. Important! Relaxed does not equal lax! only that we will try to resort to dynamic and as practical methods as possible, especially given my character and sense of humor ;). - Something important to highlight is that I always place special emphasis on the development of hearing, musicality and the analysis of your references. Above all so that you can then make your own aesthetic decisions and feel like owner of your music. - Last but not least, my tendency will be to give equal importance to different music. We will adapt to your tastes and needs, but here there is no room to say which music is better or worse. Each one will help us work on different aspects of the music and, if we don't know something, we will analyze it side by side until we unravel all its mysteries. The only thing I will do is work on themes and styles that can help us in each section of musical development (melody, harmony, rhythm, orchestration, production, lyrics, semiotics, etc.) If you like what you've read, don't hesitate to contact me. Learning music is a pleasure and I would love to share it with you! IMPORTANT!!! Due to the volume of concerts and other assignments I have, I will need to agree on a little flexibility. You will always be my priority and there will only be changes if I really can't find an alternative. I appreciate the understanding.

Hello! I'm Aurora, nice to meet you ☺️ A graduate of East Asian Studies (Autonomous University of Barcelona), I have been giving private lessons in languages such as English and Spanish for seven years, and I have been teaching Korean for two years. I also have experience as a basic-level Korean teacher at the Sejong Institute in Barcelona. In my undergraduate degree, I majored in Japanese and Korean language and literature. I have been living in Korea for two years, during which I have obtained TOPIK 6 and C2 level of Korean at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree to obtain the official title of Korean teacher. I think that not being a native speaker of the language and having to learn it from scratch has provided me with very important tools to try to help Spanish speakers approach a language as different as Korean. In my classes, I adapt to the pace and needs of each student, without putting pressure. With me you can work on grammar, vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing comprehension, and we can focus on one of them in particular if required. Depending on the student's interests (K-pop, K-dramas, Korean food, traditional culture, etc.), I try to make classes more enjoyable by creating practice exercises related to the topic of interest. :) With experience as a student in the TOPIK, I have also worked as an exam assistant, so I also offer to help prepare for TOPIK exams. I offer ONLINE or HOME classes. Are you up to learn Korean with me?~🇰🇷 한국어를 같이 공부합시다! (Let's study Korean together!)

Trusted teacher: In bioprocessing you cannot have the cake and eat it too. Constantly, you need to make choices about which unit operation is best suited for a particular application and what are the trade offs. Because of so many factors that guide this decision, it can be daunting for starting biotech/bioprocess students to be overwhelmed. I was definitely overwhelmed in my 1st year of uni. But after 5 years studying the subject, I am here to help you to think like an engineer and make informed choices based on the context of the process and product. In my class, I will teach you the theoretical background behind bioreactors and common unit operations (e.g. filtration, centrifugation, chromatography) and how to implement them into a bioprocess. This class is best suited for university students (bachelor or master), people joining/switching industry or just people interested in how pharmaceuticals are made! If you are a university student, we can can discuss your own assignments or projects. My tutoring style is discussion-based. We will have a conversation about the subjects rather than a lecture, which will give you the tools and confidence to better synthesize the course content and present your ideas in a specific manner. I create my own materials for each class, including definitions, calculations, diagrams and past-exam questions. I use a touchscreen tablet to interactively annotate our class worksheets, draw P&IDs, structures and mechanisms, write down chemical reactions and step-by-step calculations. For any questions, please feel free to contact me!

I am passionate about Sociology, Philosophy and History. I have a good level of English and two years ago I graduated from the Humanistic Baccalaureate at the Abat Oliba Spínola school. My Catalan is native as is my Spanish. I am kind, empathetic, I know how to adapt, I have an open mind but I do not impose my values (I know how to respect the values of other people and what they have been taught), I get involved with my students, I like to teach and I am good at it, I am responsible and also punctual. I have good writing and my handwriting is good and legible for all types of people. I love writing texts and essays, and I am good at correcting spelling mistakes since I very rarely make any when writing. I am not currently working but I do study in the morning on weekdays, so my availability is in the afternoons and on weekends. I can travel and I offer classes both in person and online (Zoom, Meet, Classroom, etc.). I am attentive, I have a quick and great capacity for resolution and reaction. I have the certificate of successful completion of four courses from the Pere Tarrés Foundation in: “Emotional education in educational environments”, “Prevention of racism, xenophobia and homophobia in school”, “Conflict resolution” and “Communication skills”. This is my first work experience but I am looking forward to starting work and being able to share my knowledge and teach. As a hobby, I sometimes like to read Sociology books or research philosophers. In high school and 4th year of ESO I was passionate about Art History, so if I prepare the class in advance, I could also teach that subject. I also like to nourish myself and learn by watching all kinds of series in English. I will be delighted and super grateful to be able to help your children on their learning path.

Piano/Guitar/Ukulele Lessons For Children and Adults (Barcelona)
Sanja
Sanja is fantastic! Her attitude towards how she teaches is refreshing as she let's her students, and actively encourages, making a song their own. I organised this for my fiancée as a surprise birthday present and she absolutely loved the experience! She is a very visual learner so the worksheets that Sanja had prepared were perfect, despite being aimed at kids, they worked wonders for her! I was allowed to sit close by too so I could enjoy the whole experience which was lovely. Thank you so much!! And we have already organised the next lesson.

Oliver
We are just getting started, but our experiences with Oliver have been great so far. He is prompt to communicate, professional and very patient. He does a good job of understanding where my daughter is, helping her at her level, and not making her feel bad that she is having a tough time with Math. Highly recommend!
