Who am I? Originally from Val-de-Travers, I finished my bachelor's degree in tourism in Sierre in Valais, my native language is French, but I studied in English since high school (at the age of 15). I love languages, I love practicing them and I love passing them on because they are so important for your future (travel, careers, meetings, etc.). When I was younger, I was already giving English tutoring to my best friend. I loved these moments of learning but especially of sharing which greatly helped my friend and first student. As a teacher, I want to provide support and motivation. I want to make you want to practice and improve languages, to pass on my passion to you! I have just returned from a fabulous year in London, it has only strengthened my love for the language and culture and improved my level! If you choose my English classes, this is how it will go... -First of all, due to my level (B2-C1), my courses are mainly aimed at beginners (secondary school students, high school students, all ages but beginners, etc.). -The goal of my lessons is to adapt to the needs of each person (grammar review, vocabulary, discussion to practice oral skills, preparation for a test, etc.) The first step is to get in touch and discuss YOUR needs! - Classes will be held online mainly unless we live close enough! According to your needs transmitted earlier, I will prepare the documents/supports/exercises necessary to train you! They will be entirely in English in order to dedicate every second to learning!

The course is assessed through written exams, focusing on both knowledge and application of legal principles. Past papers are provided for students to practice, allowing them to familiarize themselves with the exam format, question types, and level of detail required. These resources help students refine their legal reasoning and exam technique, making them well-prepared for their final assessments.

Nice to meet you! I'm Julie, and I hope your child's future teacher :) I give private lessons at home or online, particularly in maths and French, or for homework help; for children in primary, middle or high school. I also offer workshops tailored to your child's needs at that moment, which can help us look at other, more general school issues (work methods, help with concentration, help with personal problems in the school environment, etc.) and find together how to overcome them so that your child gradually becomes more assured, confident and fulfilled. For nursery and primary school children, I also offer fun and personalized workshops for their development in the event of a blockage in one or more areas. With a master's degree in marketing, I have been a piano teacher at home since 2019 for beginners to cycle II in addition to my job. I wanted more since September 2024 to devote myself entirely to the transmission of my passion and therefore have to date 12 students, adults, teenagers and children from 4 years old! Also, I help children with learning difficulties in a REP college via an association, where each student has personalized monitoring based on their skills and needs. Please know that I advocate kindness above all, and that I am very educational in my educational practices, whether for music (piano, singing, music theory) or academic support. I am very involved and invested on a daily basis for children's rights and their well-being, whether social, academic or personal. Very interested in child psychology, I ensure their development and that, every day, they gain self-confidence and develop their autonomy. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me! I will be happy to answer them. See you soon, I hope ! Julie

Hi, my name is Sam. Do you know many students cant hear music as good as they could read music? No, you dont have to be born with perfect pitch to hear the notes in melodies and harmonies in the music. If you could tell red from orange, blue from indigo, as long as you are not "color-blind" to music (we call tone-deaf), then you can "hear" music too! With the right training of course! Wish to play songs like your favorite Youtubers playing beautiful covers within hours of a new hit single release? Then this class is for you! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Listen & Play Piano - Unlike the conventional "classical" method, this "modern approach" lesson, you'll learn to identify melodies, recognize chords, play different accompaniment styles, improvise (advanced level), and create your own personal style (advanced level). Lessons include: 1. Active Aural Training This is not the usual "classical exam format" aural exercises but practical aural techniques I've learned from my years of stage performance. 2. Chords You will learn chord theory on harmonizing the melody and how to identify them just by listening to music. 3. Contemporary Accompaniment styles This includes my bread-and-butter accompaniment styles I use in playing solo piano or keyboard in a band, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the past 18 years playing in church and band. 4. Music Theory on Pop Music Music theory provides a systematic guide to your hearing so you'll understand what you heard and can even predict the harmony movement in most pop music.
