Hello! My name is Emily and I’m a professional singer and a passionate and experienced singing and piano teacher with 15 years of teaching experience to students of all ages and abilities. As a teacher, my main goal is to make your lessons fun, rewarding and enjoyable (as music making should be!) whilst supporting and encouraging you every step of the way in your development. In your singing lessons, we will work on building your technique and musicality, your repertoire in multiple genres as well as your confidence as a performer. I teach a solid classical based technique which can then be applied to multiple genres of music. As an accomplished pianist I will accompany you at the piano as you sing your chosen songs. (For online lessons I will find suitable backing tracks.) In your piano lessons, for beginners - I will determine the appropriate starting materials based on your age, innate ability, and level of understanding. For those who have already been learning and are looking to resume their studies, I will facilitate a seamless and supportive transition. I will work closely with you to gain a thorough understanding of your needs and ensure the most effective path forward. I have over 10 years of experience in preparing students for exam grades, and work with the ABRSM syllabus and the Trinity syllabus. My students have a 100% pass rate, with the majority achieving a Merit or Distinction. I look forward to hearing from you and making music with you!

Trusted teacher: Learning to play the piano is a wonderful and very diverse experience! Every beginner has to go through it in their own special way in order to realize one's personal aspirations. But sometimes, unfortunately, due to a lack of guidance and direction, the learning process may cause some difficulties followed by unexpected disappointment. If you are in need of said guidance, if your learning experience is not that captivating or satisfying anymore, you don't have to turn away from your dreams of playing the piano - I will gladly help you to get closer to them in a fun and enjoyable way in our lessons! After finishing music school with the highest grades twice as well as a number of additional courses (improvisation, composition, orchestras, etc.) and after honing my teaching skills for more than 4 years, I can safely say that my lessons may prove useful to any type of student with any kind of given objective at hand. No matter your age, your previous experience, or background, you just need to name me your personal goal, task, or even a dream - be ready to dedicate a little time and effort, and I will take care of all the rest. Piano lessons - music theory and harmony - for any level (Budapest)

I started my lessons with Giorgia four months ago, and I am so glad to have found her. As a 26-year-old beginner, I was not sure if I should even try to pursue learning an instrument at this point. But now I am so glad I did! I am learning online, and I was a little unsure of how lessons via webcam would go. Despite my prejudice, everything turned out great, even though my setup is quite basic. Her approach to teaching is very creative. She is able to explain things that seem hard to put into words, and she always finds comparisons and descriptions that convey clearly little details of approach that make a lot of difference in the end result. For any difficulty I encountered, she presented methods of exercise that helped correct it. Another thing that I appreciate is that from one lesson to the next, the volume of work is challenging enough that I feel I am making progress, but not to the point that I am overwhelmed. Also, even though I am just beginning and the pieces are not that complex, she explains the musical interpretation in a way that not only helps me advance my skill but also enriches the way I understand and listen to music, and I find great value in that. Her manner of teaching is very organic, and she is a patient teacher with a warm presence. I wholeheartedly recommend her lessons!

Angélique is an amazing teacher, I have been having lessons with her for the last couple of years. One of her strongest assets is that she pays attention to the needs of each individual student. For myself, I was interested to improve my oral skills, communication and vocabulary (alongside learning the necessary grammar) and I have seen such an improvement. Lessons are nicely structured and with a variation of activities, again paying attention to the needs of the student. Angélique is also really good with the communication. Lessons are always pleasant and enjoyable, which can make a difference in student's motivation. I wish I had more teachers with such positive attitude and motivation when I was younger.

Robin
Robin was wonderful!! He is a very warm, patient teacher and knows (in English) how to explain art techniques to a beginner. He was very amenable when I had to change dates and ran over the scheduled time when I was late showing up because I went to the wrong Starbucks. I will definitely call him again on my next trip to Paris. 5 stars!!!
