Trusted teacher: Hi, I am Gabrielle! I am an Actuarial and Applied Maths graduate student from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. I pursued my associate degree in Actuarial Science at Macquarie University afterward and now I have been working full time in the actuarial industry for almost 5 years. I love teaching and want to continue helping students enjoying Mathematics :) Mathematics has been one of my favorite subjects since high school and that's the reason why I am still excited to tutor in my spare time. When I was in junior high school, I started to give a lesson to a few of my friends in various subjects such as Science, Math, and Mandarin. It was the first step for me toward realizing that I love teaching. After I graduated from junior high school, I looked for a more challenging job, which was being a tutor outside the school environment. Maria is a very good teacher. I am an intermediate level student, so I was looking for someone who can give me nuanced feedback. Maria is really good at doing this, and helps with the tone and style of playing by leveraging her knowledge of violin, but also history of music, and the different styles. She pays a lot of attention in promoting dynamism and color when playing, so you get to make music instead of mechanically going through the score. She is very friendly and easy to communicate. I recommend her.

Nick's approach is patient and thorough, informative and imaginative as well. He always comes up with his own examples in order to test my knowledge on a given exercise and helps me get to the answer at my own pace, rather than handing it to me. He doesn't use a one-size-fits-all method, but rather tailors his lesson in order to get out my full potential, even in a field I find difficult. He makes himself available for additional questions and is overall great to work with!

Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!
