I offer English lessons for beginners, intermediate, and advanced learners in both Taipei City and New Taipei City. I’m flexible with the location — I can teach at your home, in cafés, or even outdoors in open spaces, weather permitting. My qualifications & approach: -Qualify Level 3 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) (The TEFL Academy) (RQF) -Lesson planning, Teaching vocabulary and pronunciation, Teaching receptive and productive skills, Teaching grammar, -The use of online resources and media in the classroom. -My teaching style is student-centered, engaging, and interactive. In my lessons, I focus on creating a comfortable and interactive environment where students feel confident to practice their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. My background is in Claims adjusting and Telecommunication. where I developed strong communication and customer service skills. I am a Manchester based actress and I have been working professionally in the Musical Theatre industry for 10 years after graduating from Laine Theatre Arts in 2015. I have been lucky enough to travel the world as a Lead Vocalist and perform in several plays, pantomimes, musicals and commercials. I am super passionate about teaching others and getting the absolute best out of them. I truly believe encouragement and confidence is the key to success! I have taught Musical Theatre, Singing and Dance for over 15 years and specialise in acting through song. I love bringing my acting training in to songs and really thinking about the words we are singing and what we are trying to achieve through this, what is the purpose of the song etc - this is so important and can be transformational! I can also help with technique, warm ups and cool downs, vocal health and audition prep in either Pop or Musical Theatre. Also because I am still currently working in the industry I have first hand knowledge in what is happening at the moment and how things work. Whether you are a beginner and just want to try it out for fun or if you are looking for help with drama school auditions/ professional auditions then I can tailor the lesson to suit you :) Zoom classes or happy to teach at students house if based around the Manchester or Preston area.
