Writing is an individual and vulnerable process. When we creatively write, we are telling stories, and the effectiveness of each sentence affects how readers interpret our stories and us as writers. I know better than anyone how vulnerable it can be to share your writing. I also have an intimate understanding of the technical writing skills required to keep readers engaged and to get published. In this class, you'll learn how to: -Structure stories and paragraphs with appropriate beats and pacing. -Build complex, fully realized characters. -Write engaging, realistic dialogue in novel or screenwriting format. -Hook readers to the page using pacing techniques and red herrings. I can provide story and character consultation and feedback on your current projects. This is an advanced class. Please do not sign up for this class unless you have experience in creative writing. This may be a good class for a writer who has just finished their first novel and is looking for advice on editing and story consultation. It also may be a good opportunity for writers who have finished novels or scripts and are looking for advice on a new project. I also offer beginner and intermediate creative writing classes I am a published author and produced screenwriter. Don't miss your chance to take one of my classes. There was good communication with Armend and he arrived promptly for the first lesson. He had planned an activity which was appropriate for our boys German level. He was patient and explained aspects of the lesson clearly. The boys were comfortable and were pleased with the lesson. We were all impressed with this first lesson. We recommend him.
