Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. Thus, I give significant emphasis to these topics in my sessions, especially those aimed at playing polyrhythmic instruments such as the piano. I cover compositional tools, approaching Jazz Standards, accompaniment techniques, improvisation methods for any instrument, Blues tools, methods to strengthen the relationship with the instrument, analysis, and listening skills. I also teach classical piano for those interested, and offer specific training in rhythm and percussion. I am fully committed to my students. It is such a pleasure to learn French from Cécile! The lessons are tailor fit to your needs, interests and learning style. She challenges you every time with texts that broaden your vocabulary and deepen your understanding of the French language and culture. Naomi is an outstanding language teacher, highly skilled in teaching which comes from her advanced degree in language studies. She develops a plan based on the needs of the student - in my case, as a beginner she worked out a model that helped me grasp the basics of the structure of the language as well as cultivate the fundamentals of common everyday speech, I would recommend her for anyone wanting to develop their skills in Italian and or Spanish from a beginner to a more advanced stage.

Have just completed 6 weeks living in Spain studying Spanish and I can easily say I learned more in my 1 hour classes with Ruben than in a 4 hour day at the Spanish school! Great personalised teaching style, he really pays attention to what you need to improve on and has helpful, fun ways to do so.
