This course is aimed at all those who are just starting out or who want to perfect their singing skills, children or adults of all ages and backgrounds. /!\ Lessons will be given in English or French only, at my home in Amsterdam (Osdorp). Course content • Breathing exercises (to learn how to manage your breath and master good vocal support) • Ear exercises (to develop in pitch accuracy and intonation) • Vocalizing and voice exercises (adapted to the student's level) to warm up and develop a better voice technique • Repertoire work on arias, songs or other musical pieces (classical or pop music, depending on the student's wishes) on which the student would like to progress • (as a bonus, if needed) support or introduction to music theory The musical goal and target level will be decided (under my guidance) on an individual basis in the beginning of our lessons, according to each student's wishes. The aim of this course is whatever suits you best: to improve your level in order to enter musical establishments, to progress in order to surpass yourself, or for the curiosity of discovering new things, or even just for the pleasure of making music!

This allows the vocal cords to move more freely, so that you get tired less quickly when singing. Your voice becomes fuller and you can sing higher and lower notes. During the singing lessons we also work on articulation, the pronunciation of foreign languages and also on the meaning of and your feelings about a particular piece. Of course you decide what kind of music you will sing. Whether you sing alone in the shower or whether you are in a choir and encounter certain difficulties in general or with a specific piece? Please feel free to bring your choir part to class and we will see together how we can make this easier for you. We work on repertoire that you love. Tom had given economie lessen to both my children that are on the middle bar school. My kids were lost, going very bad specially in economie and with limited understanding at school lessons. I decided to hire Tom, was difficult to find someone that give lessons to teenagers and that was knowledged. Tom has been with us the last months, my kids began understanding better, getting the point and scoring better at school. Sometimes I could overhear the online lessons or even 'live lessons' when he came home. Tom is great, with lots of patience, straight to the point, know how to explain, never lose the temper. We are very happy and will certainly recommend him. He is very professional and can motivate the students in a very good way. Thanks Tom!

I found Dr. Ralf to be a wonderful Teacher. The things that he taught me through online helped me a great deal in this class as well as in statistic level. Because of the help and attention that He provided me with, I understand and enjoy Statistics. The class was great in that he didn’t just give the answers away – he made me THINK. This was sort of frustrating, but it helped me understand the material much better. I would recommend him as a Teacher for future classes, without a doubt.
