Are you trying to learn Polish and need some guidance? Or maybe you already feel quite confident with the language but need some real-life conversation practice? I’m a Polish tutor, who wants to share her love towards learning foreign languages by teaching other people her own. Since I’m a native, I can ensure you learn to speak in a natural way and get to know the culture on the fly. I am versed in polish grammar, so fret not, you will never hear me saying “because it just sounds right” instead of a proper grammatical explanation. Having attended extended (advanced) polish classes for 3 years (2019-2022), I posses broad knowledge about polish literature, its history and the language itself. I have also participated in a Literature and the Polish Language Contest (2020) and partaken in additional Poetry Interpretation class. I understand the importance of a personalised approach to a student and deriving pleasure from the learning process. My classes are comprehensive, tailored for the student and engaging. With my guidance and your hard work, you will be fluent in no time! :) My youngest student is 6 years old and the oldest one is 60 - I believe absolutely everyone can learn a new language and I will be very happy to help you throughout this journey. I'm an avid language myself and I know many tips on how to learn a language efficiently. I have my own small company, related to language learning. During the lessons I always speak in the target language as much as possible. I love teaching grammar and new words through conversations (as speaking the language is the key to learn it). I also focus on correct pronunciation (especially in Chinese as it's a tonal language and proper pronunciation is even more important than in any other language) All my lessons are tailored to every person. Some people like learning grammar, some prefer learning vocabulary and others love reading - my teaching style, materials that we use and speed at which we progress will all be catered to you. I can help you prepare for an exam to have casual conversations with the Chinese, the English or the Polish. We will focus exactly on the things you need! I use textbooks and different online tools but mostly I use my own materials that I have prepared myself. This way I can always be sure that the materials I provide for my students are the best quality and suited exactly for them. I love talking about Chinese characters - they aren't as scary as they seem! They are like Lego blocks - each character is made up of different smaller parts. I always come up with fun stories to help my students remember. I always send all the materials needed before the lesson - so that you can print everything if you want.
