Trusted teacher: I am a concert pianist currently living in Philadelphia! I am proud to have more than 20 awards from international piano competitions. If you want to read my artistic bio and read about the awards, and hear me play, please check my website. I am originally from Russia, and for the last two years I have lived in Europe. I’m back in the states in Summer 2024. Here is my story: I started out as a jazz pianist but began dedicating myself to classical music around the age of 14. Two years later I was accepted to the prestigious Central Music School at the Moscow Conservatory. I lived in Russia until the age of 18, and even back then I had major success in international piano competitions. I moved to the US to study with a Van Cliburn Gold medalist under a full scholarship at Park University. I later got my Master’s in piano performance at Yale University. While in the US, I played all over the country and won close to ten international piano competitions. During the past two years I have lived in Germany, where I tried to absorb as much experience as possible about the German piano tradition. I am a U.S. green card holder now. My strategy is to teach you to practice as efficiently as possible. Most people are wasting their time practicing the instrument, then get frustrated and eventually abandon it. I will show you how to make your practicing meaningful. The goal is to make it easier and more enjoyable, not harder. I would describe my approach as hands-on, but I am willing to give students as much freedom as they choose. I often ask my students to send me a video recording of their performance so that we can track progress and discuss our goals and objectives together. I send a detailed lesson summary and practice instructions at the end of every lesson. I try to be polite but straightforward. My job is to encourage you but also be clear about what is getting in your way. I am a perfectionist and encourage my students to push the bar as high as is possible at the moment. Although I have experience as a jazz pianist, my formal training is as a classical pianist and I prefer to offer only classical music lessons, yet the repertoire can range from early baroque to the most recent contemporary. Wishing you my musical best, Simon

Trusted teacher: Professional musician, teacher for 20 years, 3 gold medals at the conservatory. Take piano lessons at any age, at your home or mine, or by video. The piano is my first instrument and means a lot to me. Already present at my birth, I started as soon as I could reach the keyboard. Then studied classical from 6 to 12 years old at the Nice Conservatory, then I continued in jazz. The piano is at the same time the most complete instrument and the simplest which is, a real orchestra under the fingers, the visualization of the keys making the instrument King of the theory, of the harmony and of the musical comprehension, which will open the doors to all your musical desires, either perfecting you on the piano, or giving you an incomparable basis for starting another instrument, or just enjoying music as a connoisseur. Methodology: The course adapts to the student's profile, each person's objectives and repertoire tastes. I also like to allow adults to resume and / or develop their game, which I have often done, so do not hesitate. The study of the piano requires seriousness, but always in a good mood :-). See you soon. course: Diploma in Musical Studies from the conservatories of Nice and Perpignan. Gold medals for violin unanimously high honors, chamber music, and specialized musical training. Some experiences: substitute violinist for the Nice and Cannes Philharmonic Orchestras, music theory teacher, violin teacher at the Cultural Center, piano, violin and chamber music at the Music Academy, piano, violin and musical training at the Art , piano and violin in Mimet (13), violin at the Arpeggione school, and at the conservatories of Avignon and Aix-en-Provence. Piano, violin and music theory teacher at home since 2003. I played in various department orchestras such as the Chamber Orchestra. Personal services organization (50% immediate tax credit advance for courses taken at your home).

Trusted teacher: About the teacher: First, Professional. Holding a Master in Music post-graduate degree, the teacher has been teaching piano lessons professionally for 17 years. She has a solid theoretical foundation in music teaching, composition, and piano performance. Second, a kind attitude with patience, as well as a proper method for different levels of students. She has taught students who easily pass ABRSM grade 8. She also possesses excellent patience with young kids under the age of six. During the last ten years, her goal has been to solve an important issue: how to make students interested in piano playing. Most kids who learn the piano would give up before or during their teenage time. However, 99% of them regret it when they grow up. In Christina's lesson, she will acknowledge to the students and parents clearly what difficulties they will face during the process of music learning. It's more important that students learn to develop a good habit, a worthwhile hobby, and the perseverance that will benefit their whole life. About the class: Different students may require different class lengths. For a child under the age of six, the teacher recommends less time for each class but a higher frequency. Kids who took the piano class twice a week and half an hour each class usually progress faster than those who took it once a week. For kids who practice longer time, it is also advised to take the course longer time. A child who practices two hours a day could play Beethoven's Fur Elise within one year, but for a child who practices less than half an hour per day, this goal may take more than four years to reach. For adults who have greater self-control, it is advised to take the class for a longer time per class but with less frequency.

Jazz/Pop/Classical Piano / Singing and Music lessons for all ages (Amsterdam)
Federica
I have had 5 very helpful lessons with a relaxed atmosphere so far. Federica has directly spotted my weaknesses and has helped me to make my practice time more effective and goal-oriented instead of simply playing what I had learned at some point. I have definitely become more aware of things that I can improve and learned how to make progress more quickly. So far, we have combined different exercises on technique with music theory and also worked on my repertoire a little bit.

Piano Lessons, from beginner to advanced! You can learn any genre you want! All ages are welcome 🤗 (Kaarela)
Eda
Eda is a fabulous teacher with a real gift for teaching! I'm so thrilled that we happened to find her for our daughter — in the first lesson alone, she was able to demystify a grand piano for a small child and introduced concepts of rhythm and tone through play. Her approach to music feels magical and filled with wonder, and by the end of the 45 minutes I couldn't help but ask whether Eda also teachers adults (she does!), because I want her as my teacher as well!

Piano Lessons with Lasha ( Find out more about music) (Zurich)
Lasha
I took a few lessons with Lasha so far and I had a great experience. Lasha is diligent in preparing the material for the sessions and he adapts the lessons to my specific level and to what I prefer to practice which allows me to progress in the directions I'm most interested about. Otherwise, Lasha is an easy going and nice person and I can happily recommend him to other students.
