A smart and simple piano learning framework is offered to you. Weekly, the piano lessons at home follow a meticulously developed method. I adapt to your ambitions: whether you want to learn to play your favorite pieces by ear, improvise or master the great classics from Bach to Chopin. Whatever the objective, I strive to promote your full development. Regularity of follow-up: to progress, regularity is important, especially for beginner to intermediate level students. Lessons are therefore given on time, weekly or bi-monthly. Moments of sharing: music is a passion and learning it must remain enjoyable. The lessons take place in a friendly atmosphere, combining good humor and concentration, so that you feel comfortable and motivated at each session. The Method structures your piano lessons at home into 2 learning MODULES, allowing you to progress at your own pace and effectively. - Classical Music Module In this module, technical mastery and classical repertoire are at the heart of the learning. In order to guarantee a fine and rigorous interpretation of the pieces covered, learning is done using music scores. Provided that you work regularly (following our method), sight-reading music scores is a formidable weapon in the long term. The classical music module provides a rigorous approach, emphasizing 4 educational objectives: 1- reading notes You learn to read musical notes through a manual dedicated solely to learning the treble and bass clefs. A dedicated application is also recommended to make the training more immersive. 2- deciphering scores For beginners, a practical manual is recommended (adults or children), it teaches you to reproduce rhythm, nuances and phrasing in a fluid manner. 3- technical mastery Posture, coordination, finger articulation, and then velocity must be quickly integrated into your practice in order to allow you to fully deploy your potential. 4- classical repertoire For intermediate to advanced musicians, we delve deeper into the musical trends that you like: from baroque music to contemporary music. We can also cover film music or pop songs. - Current and Improvised Music Aimed at pre-teens to adults, this module offers a lively approach to contemporary music. Since our own musical tastes are generally formed during early adolescence, you are invited to a proactive practice of music. You assert your musical expressiveness by developing your ability to listen and understand the musical genres you like. Intimidating and then very quickly liberating, this approach allows you to develop a creative and personal musical practice. You are then able to improvise, compose or even play with other musicians. This approach is structured around 4 main axes: 1- ear work Through the music you listen to every day, you learn to identify melodies, then find the chords that accompany them. A schematic approach, which we expand by following an infinite number of arrangement patterns. 2- current music Starting from your playlist, we then open up to the musical genres that permeate modern music: blues, jazz, rock, pop, funk, variety, etc. The idea is not to devour everything, but to feed your curiosity. 3- Knowledge of the keyboard The assimilation of simple (then complex) scales and chords is an essential prerequisite for playing freely. The method thus develops a series of progressive exercises to be carried out at each session. 4- improvisation Music being a succession of chords called progression, you learn to use the relevant scales and notes simply. The fundamentals of harmony integrated, we are interested if you wish in jazz and blues in order to complete enriching your palette. We can also introduce you to composition.

Hi, my name is Sam. As an active church pianist for 20 years, with a Licentiate Diploma in Classical Piano and Degree in Contemporary Piano, I am confident to assist you in becoming the better church pianist you can be, bridging the information gaps that you may have. As you know, Church Piano accompaniment is extremely different from Classical Piano. Unfortunately traditional lessons do not provide enough answers to the many challenges in accompanying church congregation. In this lesson, you'll learn how to play chords beyond the basics, transition between songs, choosing the right key, applying the right accompaniment pattern, playing without music notations, etc. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Lessons include: 1. Active Aural Training This is not the usual "classical exam format" aural exercises but practical aural techniques I've learned from my years of stage performance. 2. Chords You will learn how to pick the right chords that harmonizes the melody and how to use them effectively. 3. Contemporary Accompaniment styles This includes my bread-and-butter accompaniment styles I use in playing solo piano accompaniment or keyboard in the worship band, and the knowledge I've accumulated over the past 18 years playing in church. 4. Arranging Techniques and Music Theory Music theory and Rhythmic studies provide all the tools you need to create the right accompaniment for any song, any mood, and any occasion. Suitable for Church Pianists of all levels! From Beginner to Experienced! Number of students: 1 per session Number of lessons: 4 lessons for each payment

Singing Lessons (Individual) - Pop, Jazz, Soul, Blues, Rock (Amsterdam)
Stefano
Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. Grazie!

Loreine
Loreine is a very good piano teacher, my daughter had already several lessons with her and we are very happy with the progress. Can highly recommend to anyone. She is talented and very hard working teacher with lots of passion! But remember, that rest of hard work and practice you need to do yourself.
