How do I teach piano During class my students get the basics of piano technique, music theory and an introduction to different music styles. Main focus applied to overcome the problem of piano: mastering two-handed rhythm. To achieve this, I teach left-hand grooves and foundations while working on improvisation, harmony, melodies, accompaniments, and everything there is to play with the right hand. I introduce piano techniques such as walking bass, tenths, stride, drop 2, and more. From my experience, rhythm, "Groove", and the connection with the music in the moment it is being played are the most challenging aspects to learn and integrate. I recently started taking guitar lesson with Vasyl and I'm really happy with my experience so far. As someone with zero knowledge about playing guitar, I was a bit nervous to start, but Vasyl has been incredibly patient and encouraging. He's a great teacher who knows how to motivate his students to keep going, even when things get challenging. I feel like I've made a lot of progress in just a short amount of time and I'm excited to continue learning from him.
