Trusted teacher: Hello, I propose courses / supports in mathematics, as well as in physics (or math-physics) for the primary, secondary and gymnasium / high school levels. For a long time I have felt in myself skills and an innate talent in pedagogy and teaching. I have often been praised for my clear and simple way of explaining. If you have had trouble with other teachers or you are desperate in math or physics, well let me put you on the rails because I propose a unique teaching method! My experience has allowed me to develop an effective and above all foolproof technique based on exercise and clear explanations. Instead of chatting for three quarters of an hour and losing your concentration, I begin by giving you a short introduction to the subject, then very quickly we move on to a long series of varied exercises that I would have taken care to bring. We gradually increase the difficulty and I accompany you less and less, little by little we complete the theory but always very concise and obvious. Quite quickly, you do not need me anymore and you can solve any problem, even the most twisted. I still give you some exercises to do at home and finally you have all the cards to pass your test. In spite of my professional attitude and my quite mathematical personality, I am considered to be a very sociable and kindly person. The classes take place in a relaxed atmosphere, put yourself at ease with me. Especially do not be embarrassed if you want to say something, I am always happy to listen to you and this even outside the context of my courses (problems, request for advice, etc.). My goal as a teacher or coach is not only that you understand, but also that you become the best! As long as I remain my student, I will hope to achieve this goal, it is a challenge that I invented to spice up my work. I take a lot of fun in what I do, because in addition to loving teaching and seeing the level of my students improve, maths and physics are since a young age a passion for me. Incidentally, I was qualified 3 times in the Swiss final of the International Championship of Mathematical and Logic Games. I can move to your home in the whole canton of Vaud, but I lower my rate if the courses take place in certain places such as the Rolex Learning Center for example. Currently, I have about ten students and all seem very happy. I can send you references on request. I have a good knowledge of the program of the canton of Vaud and have many resources. If you are interested, being an independent developer, I also give programming lessons for 7 to 77 years (initiation, web, mobile, Python, Javascript ES6). I am classified 4'055 / 1'430'831 on the platform Codingame (see image). In order to gain your trust and to allow you to try my services, the 1st course is without commitment!

Over the years, I have worked with a wide range of students and have successfully helped them excel in their studies. In addition to my extensive teaching background, I have more than 7 years of experience guiding students through standardized tests such as the GRE and SAT. My goal is to help you master these tests with effective strategies and a clear understanding of the subject matter. My Mathematics lessons are tailored for students of all levels, including: Master and Bachelor Students (subjects like Financial Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Basics of Mathematics for data science students, etc) Pre-university students IB (Math SL and Math HL) students AS/A-level students European S6 and S7 students GCSE and IGCSE students Primary school students In addition to Mathematics, I also offer tutoring in Physics and Chemistry for students up to the European upper secondary level, as well as IB and A-level students. For Biology, I provide comprehensive lessons for students up to the European Secondary level, GCSE, and IGCSE levels. My teaching style is flexible and adaptable, ensuring that every student receives personalized guidance based on their learning style and goals. Currently, I am teaching a diverse group of students from different educational backgrounds. My current students are from the following schools: National: 1. Note: While some of my students follow curriculums in French, German, or Swedish, my primary language of instruction is English. Given that Mathematics is a universal language, it’s easy to understand the tasks, and I explain solutions clearly in English, ensuring a seamless learning experience for all. Let’s embark on this learning journey together and achieve your academic goals with confidence!

Trusted teacher: I hold a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently work as a post-doctoral researcher in the Aerospace Engineering Faculty at TU Delft (Delft University of Technology). My extensive teaching experience covers a wide range of engineering courses, including: - Mathematics: algebra, linear algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, intellectual math, and advanced engineering mathematics. - Mechanical Engineering: Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, Applied Mechanics, Composite Structures, Flight, Machine Elements, Manufacturing, 3D printing, and more. - Physics: mechanics, momentum and energy, electricity, charge and current, electric and magnetic fields, waves, particle physics, nuclear decay, astrophysics, cosmology, oscillations, etc. - CAD/CAM Software: Autocad, Solidworks. - Mechanical Design Packages: ANSYS, APDL programming, ABAQUS, MATLAB, Symbolic MATLAB, LS-DYNA. My research and teaching interests are diverse, including: • Additive manufacturing • Mechanical metamaterials • Acoustical metamaterials • Electromagnetic metamaterials • Aeroacoustics • Soft matter and soft robotics • Fatigue and fracture mechanics • Experimental mechanics • Multiscale numerical modelling • Biomaterials • Porous materials • Manufacturing of medical devices and implants • Deep learning • Image processing • Topology optimization • Origami and Kirigami structures • Self-folding and self-assembly structures • Tissue engineering • Permeability in porous materials • Fluid-Solid Interaction I understand that not all teachers excel in teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and explaining their importance to students. Courses with strong mathematical backgrounds may become boring for students who lack a solid mathematical basis. To address this, I take a student-centered approach, starting from the basics to actively engage all students, including those with weaker mathematical backgrounds. I also provide practical examples to demonstrate the real-world significance of what they are learning, inspiring and fostering their interest in the subject matter. If you have any additional questions before starting a class, please feel free to ask me. I am here to assist! :)

Kollol
I fully recommend Kollol as a tutor. I had to prepare for the advanced Maths exam in 2 months and it was very challenging for me because I haven't done Maths for 3 years and also I haven't done it in English and also advanced. Kollol helped me with all subjects that I struggled with, explained to me everything very properly, was very patient and helpful, and was sending me additional exercises when I asked him to. Moreover, he was always available to help me outside the class which I appreciate a lot. He was a great teacher for me and I again I really recommend him as a tutor! :)

Matías
Highly recommended teacher!!! Matias teaching methods are great. Very clear and concise. Doesn’t waste your time explaining meaningless background information and always lectures with the intent to help you understand the material. He’s helped me understand content for my master course on Python and is one of the best lecturers that I’ve had. Your passion and dedication is beyond words! Thank you for getting me through this hard quick semester, I honestly would have never passed if it was not for your help! Thank you so much once again!
