Trusted teacher: I am an experienced math and physics teacher with a bachelor's, teacher training and master's degree recognized by the Austrian government. I make at the moment Pos-Graduation in Mathematics Education. My class is for those that want to overcome their difficulties of learning, having a good time, with a patient educator that is committed to the development of the student in what benefits his/her educational formation as a whole. I seek to provide my students opportunities to discover how mathematics is present in the daily human life (to help the human being in achieving his basics needs) and in the nature. Everyone can develop their gifts and talents and my class provide the appropriated environment for that. I try to explain content about the theory and its applications, whenever possible, showing the relation between that content and human needs that lead to its historical development. I try to help the student to achieve success in solving problems related to the theories, assisting step by step the resolution by the student (to stimulate his/her prominence, autonomy, and self-confidence in problems solving), through questions and, when needed, giving further examples and explanations that can bring deeper understandings. In my class enter no criticism and no pressure, there is no place for fear of mistakes (the mistakes are part of the way we human beings learn), the atmosphere is happy and healthy, stimulating the student to be himself/herself and to feel free to learn, investigate and question with tranquility and happiness. My role as a teacher is to provide conditions and resources through which i can better help the students to develop themselves and their potential the most.

Trusted teacher: SORRY, CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE BECAUSE OF GIVING BIRTH... PROBABLY AVAILABLE AGAIN FROM MIDDLE OF SEPTEMBER/ OCTOBER (for English description see below) Hi there, I offer tutoring for math and science subjects here. Regardless of whether it's school, university or work - having to learn to pass a subject is neither fun nor much point, as you'll soon forget most of it. But how can it be better? I have experienced several times how much of success depends on the emotions associated with learning. That's why I'll try to create an environment in which you feel free to make mistakes - because mistakes are important for learning! I rely on understanding, patience and curiosity to develop a positive relationship with learning rather than applying pressure. Following the neurobiologist Gerald Hüther, I see the art in setting just the right big challenges to be exciting but not frightening, so that you automatically develop joy in discovery. I would be happy to have an introductory meeting in order to take your needs and wishes into account from the outset. Background information about me: I am a qualified engineer (mechanical engineering) with 3 years of work experience, as well as a master's degree in bionics (cross-sectional discipline between biology and engineering) and a PhD in environmental protection of mountain regions. I was active as a youth leader at the Alpine Club. I have been giving tutoring lessons on the side ever since I was at school. I am pleased to meet you.

Palina
In terms of vocabulary, I had a good foundation through Duolingo. Decided to take one-to-one lessons with Palina to also improve grammar and listening and speaking skills. Now at lesson 4 and very happy with my choice :). After saying hello (in Russian of course) the lesson starts with a listening or speaking practice, followed by a short repetition of the grammar rule of the previous lesson and the introduction of a new grammar rule. Keep in mind, however, that the structure of lessons may depend on your level of Russian.
