I've been tutoring since I was sixteen years old. What started as a small hobby of providing extra-curricular help for some of my IB classmates 10 years ago, has now gradually evolved into a full-time passion of mine that I derive deep fulfilment from. This hyper-fixation on academic performance is often complemented by a collective learning environment that can easily neglect the unique, subtle nuances of each individual's learning style and pace. In wanting to do well, students often find themselves mitigating a teaching approach that, by necessity, prioritises this group environment, and resort to finding their own way through topics & exams - a path they don't need to navigate alone.
