Trusted teacher: Hi, My name is Jeremy and I have a Master's in Physics with honors from the University of Leicester (which was featured as a top 5 Physics university in the UK by The Guardian) and a - french - European School diploma in which I achieved 90% in Physics and 85% in Maths. Helping others understand difficult topics and skills is something that I am very passionate about as an empathetic person. I have experience teaching Physics and Maths to kids from unprivileged backgrounds at the homework school in Saint-Gilles (CASG du Service Social Juif asbl) as well as 4 years of private teaching. In my classes, I aim to: - help students achieve better grades in exams/tests in all branches of Physics & Maths - clearly explain and break down topics - give context and or example applications of topics (to improve understanding and memorization) - help with ADHD & other learning disabilities - give practical advice for university applications (eg. UCAS in the UK) and discuss the exciting Physics research/work and projects you can work on later in life Physics has a plethora of useful and fascinating applications, from the detection of Gravitational Waves and Gamma-Ray Bursts to the development of novel Medical Imaging techniques and Nano-technology (eg: smartphones). It is a subject that I am very passionate about and I hope to make use of my years of experience and extensive knowledge to help you understand and love the subject! My lessons will always be tailored to the individual needs of the student, so please do not hesitate to contact me if you have questions!

Trusted teacher: I am a physical Natural Sciences student at Cambridge looking to share my love of science with intellectually curious students. I seek to make science fun and accessible for my students. Having achieved outstanding results at GCSE (12 grade 9s) and A-level (4A* 1A), I know what it takes to prepare for public exams and I want to help my students to get a headstart with their preparation. I teach maths, chemsitry and physics to students of all ability levels. My lessons are individually tailored but follow the general strucutre below: GCSE/IGCSE: Lessons are primarily content/revision focused. Homework follows closely the content of the lessons and I provide further reivision resources and notes after each lesson. A-level and University preparation: I assign problem sets for homework due 5pm the night before a lesson. My lessons in physics and chemistry focus on making the content intuitive, so students are understanding rather than memorising. Similarly, maths lessons are taught always from first principles to help students to understand the origins of the techniques we use. The beginning of each lesson is for review of questions from the problem set. These problem sets contain questions from the relevant exam board as well as extension questions to encourage students to think in more depth about the topics we cover. Homework is always marked in advance of the upcoming lesson. Every few weeks I ask my students to sit a test tailored to their examboard so that we can track the progress we are making. This class is intended to deliver academic results, whilst ensuring students enjoy my lessons.

Trusted teacher: Professor based in Lausanne and having taught in an engineering/business school and at the university, I have been accompanying students for more than 20 years, from secondary to higher education: preparation, engineering school, university, gymnasium. As a real referent in home and online lessons, having followed more than 2000 students (see the reviews on my profile), I currently work between Paris and Lausanne (Switzerland) due to my professional obligations. *I accept new students depending on my availability (please contact me via Apprentus)* My network of pupils and students comes from various backgrounds, whether they encounter difficulties or come from the best establishments (Louis Le Grand, Henri IV, Ginette, Polytechnique, Saint Gall, EPFL Lausanne, McGill, .. .). My convincing and verifiable results testify to my qualified and competent approach for all levels (high school, college, gymnasium, preparatory classes, ...). > Which students is my support aimed at? I offer my help to students in difficulty or wishing to progress, from secondary school and from different sectors: Professional Specialized Gymnasiums Higher education (university, engineering school, etc.) > Why use my teaching services? My teaching and program mastery Taking my courses on a regular basis will considerably increase the chances of admission to higher education schools as well as to the training courses of your choice. My practical experience in pedagogy and the results mentioned above are the result of a rigorous methodology based on the following points: 1) Prior preparation of lessons and exercises, no loss of time: 100% performance. 2) Transmission of the right methodology: there are no stupid questions! My students can ask me the same question as many times as they want. What matters is finding a solution and avoiding dragging out difficulties. 3) Patience and a smile in all circumstances, proximity. 4) Courses can overflow reasonably without problem. 5) A follow-up by SMS or other (I am available if the student has specific questions). Teaching experience: - Universities and scientific and economic colleges. - Private and public high schools. - Profile requested by school heads because of my dual skills in mathematics and physics-chemistry. I am also involved in adult training for professional retraining. Curriculum vitae : - MP preparatory classes. - Central School. - Master and DEA in applied mathematics (Bac+8). - Teacher in high school, business school and science faculty. - 10 years of research (private sector). - Finance sector. Trusted teacher: I am 22 years old from Indonesia, and I am currently studying theoretical physics for my Master's degree at Heidelberg University. I speak (almost) fluent English, but unfortunately not German at the moment (although I am learning :D). Therefore, I will only be able to tutor in English (it could be a great idea for students who want to practice English themselves). I will be understanding in the fact that the language is not the mother tongue of the student's, so don't be shy :) As someone who is passionate about physics, I can help students to discover the fun in learning physics, that it's definitely not about memorizing the formula. During the lesson, my first goal would be to help students understand the concepts of the topic they are studying. In my attempt to do so, I will try my best to explain the concepts in the most intuitive way possible so that students can easily grasp them. After having understood the concepts, I will guide them on how think about it mathematically, hence arriving at some formulas. Therefore, they will not view the mathematical formulas in physics as simply some maths equation, but rather as something that represents meaning. Then the next obvious steps after this would be to discuss exercise problems, which will further enhance their understanding. But of course the lessons need not follow exactly the above mentioned steps; it can be very flexible and we will find the best method to help the students thrive on the subject. As a student who studies theoretical physics in the Masters level, I have dealt with some quite advanced level of mathematics, and in the process have picked up several neat tricks. Therefore I am also able to help students who are struggling in mathematics.

Jessy
Before having Jessy as my tutor I used to have a very bad attitude towards physics and I often found myself postponing my school assignments due to my lack of interest towards the subject. After I began having lessons with her and revising the fundamentals, my perception towards physics has changed into a positive one, which consequently made me work harder and improve my grades. Moreover, she helped me change my view on physics in a way that I would not have been able to do by myself and that is thanks to her concise explanations and her patience.

Marko
Marko is an amazing teacher and I would definitely recommend him to anyone! He is very patient, organized, kind and smart. Every class he provides the material and it is very useful, because in this way I can repeat from it after the class. Our online lessons really helped me improve and I became so much better! He also used a digital board which is very convenient and helpful. I loved also how he challenged me in order to work on my skills and improve them. Keep up the great work Marko! :)

Sebastián
Sebastian's been a solid precalc tutor. He's patient and breaks down stuff in a way that makes sense, which is a big win for me because precalc used to be a total headache. He's always got my back, making sure I'm getting it, and he doesn't mind repeating stuff if I need it. Thanks to him, precalc's starting to feel less like a foreign language and more like something I can actually handle. If you're struggling with precalc like I was, Sebastian's your guy.
