These exercises are based on the singing pedagogy that I studied during my singing diplomas (BAC +3, then an additional year (BAC +4 equivalent) and several short courses). The exercises take into account the physiological function of the voice and our entire body as an instrument. In these lessons, we will cover vocal techniques, breathing, voice placement as well as develop knowledge of the mechanism of the voice, articulators and muscles that stabilize breathing and breathing. We dedicate time at the end of each class to sing one or more songs to practice the techniques learned. These courses are perfect for people who do not have the opportunity to take face-to-face lessons due to weather or their geographical location, but also for those who want to start learning to sing with less anxiety. I graduated from the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris at the highest level with honours and I have a Masters in Opera Singing from the Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London, where I have won several prizes. I am the recipient of a prestigious scholarship from the Malvina and Denise Menda Foundation of the Fondation de France. I also have a BA in Art History from the University of Cambridge and an MA in Art History from the Courtauld Institute. I teach the principles of vocal technique that form the basis of all singing styles: finding an ideal posture and alignment of the body and the air column and eliminating unnecessary tension; optimizing breathing and support (singing with the whole body); beauty and homogeneity of the voice in all registers (homogeneity especially in lyrical singing); clear and precise articulation in all languages. Of course, these bases adapt differently depending on the styles and offer keys to freeing the voice, and not to restricting the singer! My teaching is holistic and I take into account the whole person with great sensitivity. The voice is at the center of the body and mind, and singing unifies the two.
