Beginning just under a year ago, Nathan has thoroughly enjoyed passing on his enthusiasm and passion for Guitar and Music alike through tutoring. Nathan has several qualifications in Music, including GCSE, A Level and First Class honours in Musical Arts (BA) and, starting with a Masters, he hopes to add to these qualifications in the future. Nathan’s teaching style revolves around his students and therefore adapts to the different students he is teaching, considering their skill level, age and personality when approaching each lesson. Alongside teaching, Nathan is hugely passionate about playing in his Function Band, recording and mixing songs and of course listening to music almost none stop. Nathan teaches Guitar from beginners to intermediate level players and teaches Music Theory up to grade 5 of all ages. Nathan’s lessons include breaking down the fundamentals of both guitar ad theory, from posture, fingering technique, scales, arpeggios, chords, rhythm, melody and anything else the student wishes to learn. He will teach any exam boards requested, preparing his students for their respective exams by breaking down each technical component previously mentioned with specific focus given to each section of the exam. I started acoustic guitar lessons from zero and I have learned so much with Sergio, he is an excellent teacher, very knowledgeable and patient, he also encourage you to keep practicing to achieve your goals while providing you with very useful material to do it. I really recommend Sergio as a music teacher, he plays a lot of instruments. Excelente profesor, yo empecé clases de guitarra acústica desde cero y he aprendido mucho con Sergio, sabe mucho y es muy paciente, además te anima a seguir practicando para que alcances tus metas y te provee muy buen material para lograrlo.
