I have thoroughly studied all the esteemed vocal literature in five languages, which, along with my studies in vocal technique, allows me to provide a deeply informed and effective approach to singing. As a teacher, I believe in accelerating the development of my students. While it typically takes 10 years to become a professional singer, I achieve the same results in just 2 years, helping my students develop their skills much faster than the usual approach. I teach instrumental lessons (face to face from my Music Studio and online) on flute, piano, singing, saxophone and clarinet, as well as music theory. I also offer general musical skills sessions for young children who are not quite old enough to learn one specific instrument yet. I have experience as a Music Teacher and Lecturer for schools and colleges, so I also offer help with GCSE and A-Level Music. I attend regular Safeguarding training and I have an advanced DBS on the update service. I also have experience working with children who have special educational needs and EHCP’s. Learning music and an instrument as well as being part of a group or ensemble, is about much more than becoming a performer. The skills and techniques learnt, are incredibly versatile for use in other subjects as well as being valuable life skills.
