Hello! My name Serhii. I am a musicologist. I Have a Master's degree in Musical Arts and am a candidate for a PhD. I am a first-year postgraduate student of the National Music Academy of Ukraine (Kyiv). My class will help you understand the development of world music culture. I will tell you about the music of the Middle Ages, Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and Modernism. The life stories of many composers can help you learn more about music. I understand other types of art, so I will be able to comprehensively explain the philosophy of art of a certain era. In my class, we will listen to music from different eras and be able to distinguish between styles of music. We will also look at painting, architecture of historical eras, because they are related to music. I teach music history at: - Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum - Bible Seminary on a volunteer basis I also teach solfeggio, music theory and harmony.
