Trusted teacher: Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game. Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:) I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now! Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation. Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works. This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry. Music is very powerful! PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques. Ask me anything, I'll tell you how I could help!

Trusted teacher: SONGS generally consist of chord and text lines. But where does that information come from and how do you make something out of nothing? How do you make that one great hIT or how strongly does your new song affect your love? Well, that's called "inspiration processing" and how does that work? Well, I'll tell you that in my course. If you already play the guitar or piano, you are one step ahead. Your instrument is like a trampoline that offers you more options to go further and higher. Most 'songs' are born at the craziest moments. A good songwriter his / her antennas are always open :-) and for some it is a continuous activity. During my course I teach you through all sorts of tips and tricks (including: Travel Chord Duo Method - One Four Five and minor input - Key Word Designation and Relative Chord Progressions etc.) how you can achieve strong songs. For me it is a daily activity and I have been writing all my life for others and sometimes for myself. All in all I have sold more than a million copies worldwide as an author / composer / performer. Is that little or is that a lot? I do not know. It doesn't interest me that much anymore. I want to share my knowledge about how to write a song with motivated people who want to go further than just replaying others' songs. Whether they get stuck somewhere during composing and who are not afraid to seek advice. Music is a life flirt. There are only two types of music: good and bad ... Do you have a foundation of chords, do you want to know how to make a good song .....? Just book an hour to get started. That is the scan hour. Are we lying together and is there a click? If you book and I confirm, then you also know who I am and where I hide :-) Not satisfied after the first 'lesson'? Money Back. Danny

Trusted teacher: I am an Australian musician currently living in beautiful Brno! I have been teaching, recording and performing music professionally since 2013 and have a degree in jazz vocals from the Victorian College of the Arts in Australia. I have also undertaken intensive private study in jazz guitar and double bass. I specialise in teaching: - Guitar, ukulele & double bass skills for singers & songwriters - Singing skills for guitarists, bassists, pianists and other instrumentalists - Singing & vocal coaching (absolute beginner to advanced) - Guitar & ukulele tuition (absolute beginner to advanced) - Double bass tuition (absolute beginner to intermediate, French bow & jazz pizzicato technique) - Music theory, songwriting, lyric writing, composition & creativity (absolute beginner to advanced jazz theory) - Home recording & music production - Lyric writing and pronunciation in English (for non native speakers) I teach all contemporary genres, and many of my students are singer-songwriters who play guitar, ukulele or bass while singing. I am a friendly and patient teacher, and love teaching beginners as well as advanced students. I tailor my lessons to your own goals, skill level and interests, and prefer to teach a combination of your own favourite songs plus song suggestions from me that I think will help you improve certain areas. I love teaching songwriting, and enjoy when students bring their own songs to work on in lessons. If you have never written your own song but secretly dream of trying I am the teacher for you :-) I find it easiest to teach in English, but can also communicate in German (A2) and Czech (A1).

Trusted teacher: My classes are held online around the world. I can teach in English, Spanish, Russian, Italian, French, German or Portuguese. I am a graduate of the Moscow Conservatory in Russia where I lived, studied music and arts and worked as a ballet teacher, languages and music teacher. I have professional equipment such as cameras in different positions and degrees since it is essential that the student has different optics of both the piano and my body posture. We start with music theory and practice at the same time choosing pieces of preference for the student. The real objective of the class goes beyond the music per se ... but rather a spiritual-intellectual integration which results in genius through music! Music is the hook to touch the soul. Russian piano education focuses on fewer, more challenging pieces. The music will be learnt from memory and much of the learning is done through teacher demonstration. - Solfeggio First of all, what is solfeggio? Also known as 'solfège', solfeggio (sometimes called sight-singing) is the ability to read and sing music at sight. You may have heard this phrase before: 'Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do'. This is a method used to help musicians sight-sing. The Russian piano teaching method is often complemented by the use of solfeggio, and it is commonplace that when Russian teachers do use it, they use the fixed do, meaning C is always do, regardless of the key. With the British piano teaching method, solfeggio is less commonly used, and when it is, moveable do (the tonic is do) is used. As you can probably decipher, this makes the Russian method of using solfeggio much more challenging. - Attitude Without wanting to cast a generalisation across Russia, their learning method has been known for strictness, discipline and controversy. It leaves many wondering: Is the Russian way of learning the piano more demanding? Frequently, Russian piano teachers I work with joke about the harshness of teachers in their youth. The method is trying to achieve excellence in piano playing, but encouragement and discipline are used to varying degrees. I mix my adventuress, feisty, serious, exotic, disciplined and wild personality and the outcome are my classes!

Nora
A very caring and attentive instructor. Loved my first lesson and booked several more. She started from the very basics and was very patient throughout the lesson. I was extremely nervous about my total lack of abilities, but she ensured I was comfortable a few minutes into the lesson. Highly recommended!
