Self Inquiry is a mindfulness healing method, optimal for people with many tensions, fears and psychosomatic complaints. I like simple, practical and effective... an activity that you should be able to explain to a 10 year old... Self Inquiry is a method to achieve and maintain a healthy balance, which should actually be learned at school, practical, simple and effective. The method is based on the principle that the signals we receive from the body are aimed at sending you to a happy, healthy and long life. In spiritual circles this collection of signals is also called 'the internal Guru'. Just as a wound on your finger heals on its own provided the right conditions are created, the body also heals the blockades and imbalances on an energetic, emotional and mental level. The body communicates with you continuously, through pain, tension, pressure, but also through love, inspiration, curiosity and zest for life. Although the body helps us to be happy, few of us Westerners have learned to listen to the body and act in line with its signals. Soooo... back to basics! From my own experience I know how tempting it can be to look for happiness outside of yourself and at the same time ignore the signals of the body. 15 years ago I ended up in a Burn Out, a very strong form of communication from the body, that it was really time for rest and reflection. The good thing is that you don't have to let it get to that point... During the lessons you will learn: - how you can strengthen the contact with yourself, with the body, with the signals from the body and how you can translate the signals into daily life and - how to live in alignment with your deepest truth, with your personal boundaries and in alignment with your deeper desires I give you the tools to do your own research and to improve. And in the meantime I will guide you through guided Self-Inquiry sessions to promote further deepening... the combination of self-practice and periodic guided sessions gives the best results.

Trusted teacher: I can assist you. The first bipolar episode is the most difficult. It hits you blindly with ignorance. No-one is prepared enough for this experiential. All those involved with the initial onslaught of a bipolar episode, are the Patient + Family + Friends + Work colleagues. You will need the quick action and immediate guidance of an objective communicator. This is where I step in. Bipolar is a complex form of a disorder that is commonly misunderstood. Many people identify with some of the symptoms. Some people are properly diagnosed by a mental health professional. Some are diagnosed by family and friends that usually mean well. Lots of people slip through the cracks because they probably have a wonderful support system that loves and accepts them as they are. There are also those who know that they are bipolar but never get caught. Being a nonfactual science, one can only imagine the array of variables within the multitude of hypotheses required to diagnose and administer the right medication to bipolar patients. Let me help you manage this web of what often appears as disastrous mania event. Why is it complex? A bipolar high is euphoric. No “patient” wants the medication to dull these sensations. So people who are properly diagnosed, and are on the correct medication, with the correct dosage will often NOT want to continue taking their medication once they have been stabilized. It takes a strong will to accept the numbness required to live a ‘normal’ life. Reach out when you need a hand. There isn’t enough information, on the right platforms to provide tailor made assistance for that first Bipolar episode. You dont have to do it alone.

I'm an art-therapist and offer sessions which can help you better understand yourself through Art (it might be either creating a drawing, collage, clay sculpture or using well-known pieces of Art and using them as a starting point in the session). How session is organized? We start with a small talk about your request or problem area that worries you and then I offer to represent artistically the key point of your problem or question. I know a huge variety of techniques as well I have over 500 hours of practice only in art-therapy. Mind that sometimes you need more than 1 session to work out the problem. As a professional I have my personal art-therapeutic sessions, regular intervisions with colleagues and supervisions with my supervisor (she is from the UK). You don't need to be a professional artist to try Art-therapy. It's a creative process of getting to unconscious levels of your Self. If you have artistic skills, therapy can help find your way and route in your field as well as better understand yourself as an Artist. When I say that I'm an art-therapist I mean that I use a variety of tools from different expressive Arts such as bibliotherapy (reading books), museum therapy, music therapy, etc. I give homework which is optional but highly recommended and it can help you feel closer with your emotions and bring inner peace and balance. I have a Dergree in Psychological Counseling and Clinical Psychology. Have private practice and plan to relocate to Europe. As part of my plan I want to become a member of European Federation of Art-therapy (EFAT). Currently I'm a foreign member of American Art-therapy Association (AATA) Feel free to contact me as I work as a clinical psychologist with cases of anxiety, depression or personal disorders. As a professional I don't state any mental diagnose or prescribe medicine but I do work as a supporting specialist with people who have mental disorders using integrative approach: CBT, existential psychology, buddhist psychology and art-therapy.

Trusted teacher: This is an 8-session program aimed at the school ‘transition’ years of ages 12-19. The group sessions are facilitated following a broader Personal, Health, Social, and Economic Education (PSHE) curriculum focusing on gathering teens' needs, making them objects of reflection while leveraging neuroscience information and a playful approach. The program can also well serve as a taster for teachers/parents in separate sessions or workshops. In particular, Teen's Time explores issues around: - Working with concentration and focus; exploring how we can work with a wandering mind. - Identifying emotions, how they work, and interact with thoughts and body sensations. - Why humans worry, and how to support ourselves when we do so. - Sleep: why it is important and what to do if we struggle to sleep well. - Being with others: the opportunities and challenges of working skillfully with friendships and other relationships, Each session includes: - Learning about key areas of the brain and how they support us in our everyday activities - Some introductory breathing practices - Reflections - Animations, short video - Discussions - Role play's and enactment's - Exercises they can try in their own time Teen's Time is inspired and informed by the several children-oriented programs of the Mindfulness in School Program (MisP) organization. The feedback from children who have previously taken part in these programs is very positive. They report enjoying the group sessions and especially sharing their emotions with the other participants. They find learning and neuroscience helping them in a broad range of situations from being able to concentrate and focus more easily in school to helping them feel calmer in exams and competitions. Many have described sharing the learning with other family members and finding it helps them with their relationships with family and friends. Teen's Time Starts: on Monday, February 28 - Introductory session - Time: from 16:00 to 17:00 hr
