If like most people you don’t like visiting the dentist, then this course is for you. My name is Hamish, I am a dentist based in Scotland. People often ask me what is the best way to AVOID dental treatment. The answer is simple – brush your teeth! Although this sounds straightforward, very few people manage to live their lives without needing some form of dental treatment. This class has been designed to help you maintain excellent oral health from the comfort of your own home. Oral health education is a routine part any dental appointment – however most people don’t remember the advice they are given as the majority of their appointment is spent lying backwards with their mouth wide open. During this class we will focus on education not examination. This means providing you with “the ideal advice” you need to reduce your risk of dental decay, gum disease and oral cancer. Adhering to this advice will therefore reduce the amount of dental treatment you will need throughout your life. Participant engagement is essential for this class. You must be keen to interact with the process so that I can assess your existing risk levels and provide you with tailored advice to meet your individual needs. The more you put into this class, the more you will get out of it. For participants below the age of 17 years old it is recommended to attend this class with a parent or guardian to ensure the best chances of success. Disclaimer: This class is aimed as an adjunct to routine dental examinations. The purpose is education not examination and thus no dental disease will be diagnosed. For diagnosis it is essential you continue to see your dentist for routine dental examinations.

Do you need to pass the OET or PLAB 2 in order to work as a healthcare professional abroad? I am an official OET preliminary provider who is highly skilled at teaching English as a second language (TESOL certified). I specialise in medical English and have helped countless doctors, nurses, dentists, and pharmacists pass the OET over the last seven years. Furthermore, I have been an IELTS teacher since 2011, and I am also proficient at job interview preparation in healthcare fields along with work-related medical communication. Lastly, I can provide PLAB 2 speaking guidance and practice. Each one-to-one class is held online via Zoom Monday-Friday from 10am-6pm. Students also have the option of purchasing a package of 10 lessons in advance at a discounted rate (to be completed within six weeks) or 20 lessons (to be completed within three months). *No negotiations* Your lessons will cover all four OET sub-tests or various PLAB 2 speaking stations, including a customised curriculum based on your areas of weakness as well as plenty of homework with practice material. ***Please note, students should be at a B2/C1 English level in order to begin preparing for OET/PLAB*** • Students have 24 hours to cancel/reschedule a lesson; however, for late notice cancellations or multiple cancellations, no refund/rescheduling is permitted. • One writing submission is allowed per lesson (as needed). Writing corrections include detailed feedback, tips, and scoring. • Do you prefer to have only writing corrections without live lessons? (only one letter can be submitted at a time). I look forward to helping you on your journey to a new country!
