I can also help them in English and Spanish but I should point out that I am not trilingual, I provide academic support. ★ I'm listening: A prior discussion with parents is essential in order to know precisely the academic problems of their children and to best guide my lessons. I also like to ask the children afterwards what their difficulties are to see if parents and children have the same perception. When the assessment is established, I question the students on what they are studying in class with a view to following the program while trying to review specific points that have not been assimilated. I mainly use their courses and their textbooks so that my students keep their bearings, but if necessary I use the material I have. ★ I am a translator of incomprehensible courses: Indeed, the lessons are completely incomprehensible for most students. They send me the topics they’d like to cover, along with any class notes, past exams, or homework. I review the material in advance and prepare tailored exercises so we can make the most of our time together. During the session, we work through everything collaboratively, and I often assign additional exercises or homework to reinforce learning. I take notes live during the lesson on my iPad, and afterwards, I share a complete PDF with everything we covered. If there’s something we didn’t get to, I make sure to finish it and send it over as soon as possible. There’s truly no better feeling than seeing a student gain confidence and succeed in a subject they once found difficult.

Mathematics classes for beginners and intermediate level (Gouda)

I need to re-study 4 years of high school maths in only 5 months. Mahmood agreed to help me with this difficult task and thanks to his professional way of teaching I believe I can make this happen. He explains topics in detail and yet quickly enough to spare time for other topics. If you are unsure he points you to the right direction. Most important thing for me was that he made me realize that I first need to master concept #1 in order to be able to later master concept #5 and so on. You can see that he has a lot of teaching experience, he tries to understand the way YOU think and based on that he serves you clear explanation for topics you struggle to understand. I definitely recommend him as your next teacher!

It is such a pleasure to learn French from Cécile! The lessons are tailor fit to your needs, interests and learning style. She challenges you every time with texts that broaden your vocabulary and deepen your understanding of the French language and culture. Cécile is also funny and caring, which is a plus when you are learning something difficult. While learning another language can feel overwhelming, she is always patient and encouraging.
