Trusted teacher: In this session we'll focus on areas that you require some extra support in, focusing on the centre of the UK's national curriculum, the three main core subjects: English, Maths, and Science. To start with you will need to: - Identify what subject(s) you would like tuition in - The syllabus in the subjects (if bookings are based alongside school learnings) - The level you are currently at - The goals you wish to obtain and if there's anything in specific regarding the support needed Learners require individual support and the skill I've acquired will naturally align with the learners requirements. Back story: My interest surrounding society and teaching comes from understanding there's many ways; no two people are the same, what works for one may not work for another. My skills and experiences have highlighted there's a need for those that still have passion and care for what they do. It takes more than communication when individual support is needed; thus my skills continuously enhancing. I allow myself to stay true to who I am whilst working, where my ambitious, understanding, empathetic, creative, optimistic, integrity, leadership skills, dedicated and critical thinking qualities form attainment. Since 2019 I have been working in the educational field, with as young as EYFS to KS4, as a teacher assistant, one to one support, mentoring and providing public and private tuition. Amongst this I have acquired a BA degree in Sociology which has allowed me gain further knowledge and skills in other roles. Within this time I have seen the students I've provided support to excel, learners that had lost hope then regain optimism. ©

Trusted teacher: To help children succeed in math, I would focus on creating a structured, engaging, and supportive learning environment that builds their confidence and problem-solving skills. Here’s how I would approach it: Assessing the Child’s Current Level: The first step would be to understand each child’s current abilities, strengths, and areas needing improvement. I would assess their understanding of math fundamentals, such as basic operations, number sense, or algebra, depending on their age and level. Building Strong Foundations: I would ensure that students have a solid grasp of the foundational concepts before moving to more complex topics. This may include reinforcing basic arithmetic, number theory, or explaining core concepts in geometry and algebra clearly. Personalized Learning Plans: Every child learns at a different pace, so I would tailor my lessons to each child's needs. For some, this may mean breaking problems down into smaller, manageable steps, while for others, I might introduce more challenging material to keep them engaged. Making Math Fun and Engaging: I would incorporate games, puzzles, and real-life examples to make math relatable and enjoyable. Interactive learning keeps children engaged and reduces the fear often associated with math. Step-by-Step Problem Solving: I would teach students how to approach math problems methodically by breaking them down into smaller, logical steps. This helps develop critical thinking and enables students to solve even complex problems with confidence. Encouraging a Growth Mindset: Mistakes are part of learning. I would encourage a growth mindset by praising effort over results, showing students that challenges and mistakes help them grow and improve. Regular Practice and Reinforcement: I would provide practice exercises, both during tutoring sessions and as homework, ensuring that students get ample opportunity to reinforce what they’ve learned. Gradual increases in difficulty would help keep them challenged but not overwhelmed. Real-Time Feedback: During lessons, I would provide immediate feedback, correcting errors and explaining where things went wrong. This helps to clear misconceptions right away and solidify understanding. Utilizing Visuals and Manipulatives: I would incorporate visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and physical objects (manipulatives), especially for younger children. These tools help explain abstract concepts and make math more tangible. Building Confidence and Independence: Over time, I would encourage children to try solving problems on their own. I would gradually reduce assistance as they develop more confidence, allowing them to take ownership of their learning and celebrate their progress. By focusing on these key areas, I aim to make math approachable, enjoyable, and successful for children at any level.

Trusted teacher: As a teaching professional, I have always enjoyed sharing my knowledge. My goal is to provide quality education. I am aware that some topics may seem complex, but often this is simply the result of insufficient explanation on the part of the teacher. With me, you will discover a real interest in the subject! We work together to achieve academic excellence, overcoming the shortcomings and difficulties encountered by your child. Studying will become a pleasant experience for him. In addition to lessons, I can also help with academic guidance, identifying their preferences and highlighting the advantages and benefits of a fulfilling educational ambition. The sessions generally take place according to the following stages: 1️⃣ The first sessions are devoted to the assessment of the student's level in order to detect existing gaps. 2️⃣ Next, we establish a personalized plan to fill these gaps, including the number of work hours needed, specific areas to target, and appropriate training and development exercises. 3️⃣ We remain in constant contact with the student's class teacher, to stay informed of the latest requirements and ensure a consistent approach. 4️⃣ Subsequently, I provide exams similar to those likely to be taken in class, to effectively prepare the student. 5️⃣ Upon request, I write a regular report, usually monthly, to keep parents informed of their child's progress throughout their journey. I adapt my methodology according to the specific needs of each student, thus offering them a personalized and adapted work approach. In addition, I offer intensive internships to students preparing for the start of the school year, allowing them to start the year well prepared, with a solid lead on the school program. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. I will be happy to help you.

Ettayyebi
So far, I have had two sessions with Hamid and the experience has been pleasant. I find that Hamid was well prepared before the classes began. He made his own notes, schedule and was very organised with his approach as a tutor. Professional, clear about his teaching methods etc,. As a tutor, he is very patient and explains everything with a simple and understandable analogies. I am happy with his teaching and hopefully will continue to do so. Highly recommended.

Pavlos
Pavlos is a great teacher. He taught me discrete math and comes with his own suggested material, although tailored to your needs. He goes over the material, making sure you understand it before he continues. He also provides extra exercises if you need them.
