Besides the lessons, you will get "homework" to work on to strengthen your skills and independent working. Topics include, but are not limited to: -Linear Algebra -Calculus -Trigonometry -Geometry -Set Theory and Metrics -Analysis -Algebra -Numerical Analysis -Number Theory -Probability -Logic and Proofs -Galois Theory If you have another topic in mind that you really need help with, just send me a message! Trusted teacher: - If you are tired of paying tutoring organizations that send you students who have the knowledge but not the pedagogy... - If you are tired of only finding highly qualified teachers while your daughter is only in 5th grade... You have come across the right ad! ★ I am versatile: I can help your children with French and Maths. I can also help them in English and Spanish but I should point out that I am not trilingual, I provide academic support. ★ I'm listening: A prior discussion with parents is essential in order to know precisely the academic problems of their children and to best guide my lessons. I also like to ask the children afterwards what their difficulties are to see if parents and children have the same perception. When the assessment is established, I question the students on what they are studying in class with a view to following the program while trying to review specific points that have not been assimilated. I mainly use their courses and their textbooks so that my students keep their bearings, but if necessary I use the material I have. ★ I am a translator of incomprehensible courses: Indeed, the lessons are completely incomprehensible for most students. They are formalized in a way that no teenager can understand them. All students have the potential to become good as long as the concepts are well explained. My mission is therefore to simplify them and transcribe them into clear language. ★ I am methodical: I have improved my working methods through my 8 years of teaching. They are based on understanding and not on rote learning. The students must be able to re-explain their lesson to me and thus demonstrate that it has been completely understood. I give exercises of increasing difficulty and which allow optimal progression. I can also give exercises to do for the next session. When there is time left, I even take the opportunity to move forward with the program so that they get the best possible grades! ★ I am a coach with a psychological approach: During my adolescence, I was school phobic and that's why I do everything to help my students feel better at school. I'm not just here to help them with their homework. All my lessons are personalized because each student is different. I like to know how they perceive the subject, if they appreciate their teachers in class, the job they want to do later... I make a point of letting my students find the solutions to the exercises on their own so that they are proud of themselves. In addition, I will encourage them to develop a taste for effort (pay attention to their spelling and write neatly) in order to systematically produce quality work and gain self-esteem. I restore confidence in my students because it is important that they are happy and motivated to be effective in their work. ★ I do my job with pleasure: I like to pass on knowledge and see my students progress. Teaching is for me a real pleasure and not a nutritional need. I therefore offer real supervision throughout the school year. Observation, listening, work and encouragement are the 4 pillars of my teaching. The goal is for them to be autonomous and independent at the end of the school year! My lessons boil down to this: good humor and efficiency! ★ Hours: - Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. - Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ★ Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions because I am very responsive on Apprentus (around 1 hour). We will therefore be able to organize a first course quickly. See you soon !

Trusted teacher: Dear students and parents, I am an enthusiastic and hard-working multilingual (English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani) Math and Statistics educator and Data Analyst with 12 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience in an international environment. First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. As a Math High-Level teacher in IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) the part of my teaching also consisted of supervising students’ research projects. Previous research experience in the frame of UNDP (UN Development Program) by that time was very valuable. Being an IB Math Examiner helped me to see the clear picture of students' mistakes done during the solutions. So I teach students how to show their solutions to get more marks on the exam. Working with British School during this hard time of COVID taught me to be prepared for any challenges, to make decisions in a very short time, to be ready for any daily but very important changes. Teaching online became more interesting by using such helpful math tools as Desmos, Geogebra, TI 84 Calculator Online, etc. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities of the US (UW-Madison) helped me clearly to see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years. Years of hands-on work experience and a keen interest in Math teaching as a profession, excellent Math and Statistical skills, a deep understanding of IB Global mission, and being curious to learn the new curriculum (IGCSE, A-Level) have prepared me well for the challenges and opportunities of the Math Teacher position. Therefore, I believe all these experiences will help me smoothly rise the level of my students. Sincerely, Leila

Trusted teacher: Greetings! I'm Jamal, based in the lovely city of Budapest, Hungary. I am deeply immersed in the captivating realm of mathematics as part of my academic journey. But beyond the formulas and theories, my true passion lies in making learning a delightful and accessible experience, mainly when it involves the fascinating world of mathematics. If I were to describe myself, "friendly" and "approachable" would be at the top of the list. My mission is simple but heartfelt – I'm here to assist others on their path to understanding and conquering mathematics. When it comes to teaching, my philosophy is all about tailoring the learning experience to the unique way each student thinks and learns. No two individuals are the same, and that's what makes teaching such an exciting adventure. By understanding the strengths and thought processes of each student, I help them discover their mathematical potential. One of my core beliefs is that math is for everyone. I'm trying to challenge the notion that some people are naturally better at math than others. It's all about fostering a positive learning environment and instilling confidence in my students. I want them to enjoy the journey of exploring and conquering math. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me for any questions or to learn more about how I can assist you. I'm committed to providing a swift response, typically within a few minutes or by the same day/end of the day. Let's embark on this exciting mathematical adventure together, where learning is engaging, and math becomes a friend, not a foe!

Jamal
Jamal is an excellent tutor who has helped me improve significantly from struggling, to performing greatly during my A level maths exams. Jamal is also extremely friendly and hard working, preparing each revision session in advance allowing him to explain complex topics simply and concisely. I highly recommend him to anyone who like me has always found maths hard and uninteresting, as his teachings have shown me that maths can even be fun with the right level of understanding. Thanks a lot for all your help and fun year Jamal! Leo

I ordered a lesson from Leila for my daughter. She needed help with Calculus. Leila is really professional in Math and pedagogy. She carefully researched needs of my daughter and prepared a worksheet based on her gaps and progress. This is really professional approach. Moreover her explanations are clear and easy understandable. For some questions she showed even 2 or 3 solutions. My daughter is very happy with math lessons of Leila.

Adel
I found Adel after earlier attempts to get a good instructor to help my nephew prepare for his baccalaureate and I am so happy I did. He worked very closely with my nephew, guiding him and explaining to him what he should do all the way to the very end. I strongly recommend Adel and will not hesitate to request his services again if a need arises. Adel, thank you so much for your patience and dedication. Much appreciated.
