Pedagogue and organized, I will help you to familiarize yourself with methods and words playfully and passionately. I usually operating as follows: - I'm looking at the problems you have; - We move forward together to solve these problems: explanations, fun exercises, methods, training, tips, about topics that interest you (series, games, movies, cat... whatever!); - For every new problem in your program and every difficulty, we find a solution together; - Then, if there are no more problems, we try to go further: improvements in "details" or more important things, training, exercises, tips, and tricks. But in any case, I adapt my work to the way you work and understand. If you are very "visual", no worries: we will use colors, images, metaphors. If you need repetition to get there, no problem either: we will rehearse and train. And if you need to communicate, to often have help or to receive small messages to motivate you: that's normal and that's not a problem. The main thing is that we can work together to find out what the problem is and what works for you. And if you are struggling, if it does not work, no worry (but it must be said!). English Language, Literature and Spoken Language can be a daunting course, often giving the impression that there is a lot of reading and plenty of long nights spent doing boring essays! Each lesson plan is tailored to the student, the first session allowing me to understand their needs, there are no recycled facts or resources. I specialise in tutoring a variety of but not limited to SATs, GCSEs and Alevel subjects (mainly Religious Studies, English Lit&lang, Bio, Chem and Physics). My goal is to keep students challenged, but not overwhelmed. I assign homework after every lesson and provide periodic progress reports. Nearer to the examination, I am happy to provide progress reports and assessments every week to make sure the student is prepared! This class aims to throw away the archaic methods schools are happy to employ in teaching their subjects. In doing so, I aim to establish a relationship between the students and their tutor which has shown to promote a healthy work ethic and enjoyment within the classroom! The subjects taught aim to provide demanding and fulfilling content, giving students the confidence that the skills, knowledge and understanding that they will have acquired during their study will help them in their academic journey and life. The class further seeks to equip the student with skills comparable to those of the highest performing jurisdictions in the world, working in conjunction with their schools. Hard work is rewarded and lazy work is sanctioned, there is no slacking in success. I am available all hours of the weekend and during the early/late hours of the weekdays.
