Preparation for the conservatory. Cello and/or musical language classes

One of the most wonderfull string instrument is the cello. If you want to learn how to play cello or just to continue improving your skills do not hesitate to contact me. I have a lot of experience teaching cello and for me, the most important thing in my lessons is learn well and enjoy. Ussually, my lesson programme is start with a short warm up (technique exercises) to continue with different cello pieces chosen by the students. I have a lot of pop and actual music cello pieces for all levels. In addition, I'm familiar with methods like ABRSM, Suzuki, Feuillard, Duport, Popper and Piatti.

CLASSES IN SPANISH, CATALAN, FRANÇAIS, DEUTSCH, ENGLISH SPANISH (DÉSCPRIPTION FRANÇAISE EN BAS): I offer piano classes, awareness/introduction to music and music theory. I live in Madrid and I am a student of a Higher Degree in Singing (Jazz and Modern Music). I dedicate a good part of my time to teaching (musical and linguistic) in the format of private classes online or at home. I started giving private classes at home to children when I lived in Germany. During the 22-23 academic year I gave piano classes to students of all ages at the RedMusik Music School (Igualada, Catalonia). I studied the piano and other instruments for more than 15 years at the UGDA and at the Luxembourg City Conservatory of Music. After many years of music theory and piano I obtained the „Première Mention“ certificate from the Conservatory, with the qualification "Très Bien". A good music class should include not only reading scores, but also theoretical and harmonic study, improvisation, recreational play with the instrument, listening and rhythmic exercises. In this course you will learn to understand your body through music. To play piano we need more than our fingers, you will learn to feel your body, the relaxation that passes through it and the necessary movements you must make to be able to properly play the piano. You will also learn a lot about each era, starting from the Baroque to today. You will be able to see how each era is unique and the way of seeing and feeling music in each of them. You will learn many ways to study, so that you can continue at home alone with the certainty of doing well. We will learn together, because I am convinced that teaching is a way of learning too.

Either you are a complete beginner, an instrumental performer, or you want to prepare for entrance exams into a music conservatories, these classes are perfect for you. Together we are going to read, listen and analyze music and work towards understanding it in a musical, structural and compositional level. In addition, for the instrumentalists that may join the class, we can even discuss and work on pieces that you are already studying at the moment, regarding on your musical interpretation, the piece's structure, analisys and time period.

I graduated with honors from the "Amadeo Roldán" Conservatory in Havana as a lute player, instrument teacher, and ensemble practice teacher. I also perform in the execution of the guitar, the piano and the Cuban tres, as well as group work. This class is aimed at those who are interested in learning music, either theory or practice. This is a discipline that requires rigor and demand, something without which it would not proceed. The passion and love for this art will play a transcendental role in the assimilation of the contents and the importance that can be given to it.

These classes are focused on learning vocal interpretation of modern music. To do this, we will work on vocal technique, body expression and connection with the audience, and the preparation of repertoire, according to the needs and tastes of the students. It is advisable to take the classes individually, but they are also offered in groups of up to 5 people. In the individual modality, a song will be recorded, when the students feel ready, that demonstrates and practices what was taught during the course.

Viola classes for all levels! My name is Raquel, and I am a graduate of the Viola Master at the Antwerp Conservatory. If you want to learn viola, this is your chance!
