For example , The letter H is pronounced as (ash) in French. (Y) Your reward, and so on. You must know the structure of the phonemes to pronounce the word correctly. As in the audio clip ( Tion - Tien - Oi - ....ETC ) Sion - Cian - Wa ..... etc. You must know the vowels (Aiouey), through the vowels we will know the correct pronunciation of the word and whether the last syllable of the word is pronounced or not, and the connection between words and the consonants located between the vowels, all of this leads to changing the pronunciation of the word. The letter (H) is a consonant but is treated like a vowel and is not pronounced at the beginning, middle or end of a word. However, it can be pronounced (Sh) if the letter (C) comes before it. I’ve been teaching since I was 19 when I left home for college. I was mainly tutoring and helping students with homework at that time. In 2020 because of COVID, I started to work online as a translator, private teacher of Italian, and everything that involved the Italian language. In my lessons we not only learn a language, but if you like, we can learn about Italian culture, traditions, religion, food 😁 and so on. Usually, to facilitate learning, I use innovative methods, such as recommending TV shows or movies, books, songs, poems, and everything that piques the student's interest. Then we comment together in class. One important thing for me is that my students speak the language every day, not just twice a week we have the lesson. This is fundamental to accustom the brain to become more and more familiar with the language. That’s why I recommend apps, songs, and sites where you can keep your language trained until our next lesson. If I haven’t convinced you yet, come take a class with me.
