I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners and I have taught hundreds of students from all ages and professions for more than 20 years. I am a professional English teacher but I like teaching Turkish more as it is my mother tongue and it is a great pleasure for me to share its secrets and beauty. While teaching I also love giving some useful information about the culture, people, cuisine, films and literature in Turkey to help you get connected to Turkish culture. I prepare written and verbal dialogues in the areas the student is interested in. I am from Istanbul but I traveled almost all cities, mountains, rivers, lakes in Turkey. I’ve had an amazing experience with Rana today, with my 4,5 year old daughter. She’s so creative and really great at engaging my daughter in the teaching, even though it’s the first time they meet. My daughter is usually shy and needs time to open up to strangers. But Rana managed to “get down to her level” very quickly which made my daughter comfortable and talkative. So I’m very pleased. I appreciate the effort and can only give my strongest recommendations for Rana.

In a class, she is very skilled at offering depth for someone who has some turkish understanding as well as being accessible to a beginner.
