The harpsichord came in my life when I was 15 years old. I absolutely love Classical and Baroque Music and as well as Jazz and Pop. I'm skilled in teaching kids and adults, beginners or experienced with the keyboard and/or music theory. Therefore, I use different methods, according to the student's needs and expectations. Each student is special so a lesson can differ, depending on the student's level. Normally, I start with warming up and technical exercises (posture is very important!), a brief music theory contextualisation of what is going to be approached in the lesson and, most importantly, have fun and provide a nice atmosphere during the lesson. I've graduated in piano and harpsichord at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in 2007. In 2012 I've graduated in harpsichord at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, obtaining my Master degree at the same institution in 2014. I had never played the piano before and was looking for someone fun who has experience with different styles of music. David is exactly the teacher I was looking for. I have had around 6 lessons so far and can say that he is very patient and great at spreading a motivating and playful learning atmosphere.
