My horizons: -The jazz double bass (walking bass, improvisation, sounds, repertoire, rhythm, theory ..) - the "general" technique (body position, right hand, left hand, flexibility, etc.) -the classical double bass (sound of the bow, phrasing, study of pieces ...) - "contrabassistic" culture (operation of the instrument, the undisputed masters, the repertoire in the broad sense ...) Trusted teacher: Adrian Bifano (1997) is an Amsterdam-based guitarist from Caracas, Venezuela that is part of the up-coming generation of the Dutch Jazz scene. Winner of the Erasmus Jazz Prize 2019, Adrian has performed at top festivals such as North Sea Jazz Fest, North Sea Round Town and Grachtenfestival, and has also shared the stage with established and emerging musicians such as Benjamin Herman, Stefan Lievestro and Alessandro Fongaro. Adrian (1997) started classical guitar lessons at age 11 but quickly switched to electric guitar because of his passion for rock music. At age 14, he was admitted to the TJC Music School in his hometown, Caracas, where he studied jazz guitar, graduating with honours at age 17. While living in Venezuela, Adrian started playing professionally at 16 years old, being called a “young promise”. In 2017, Adrian moved to The Netherlands to study at Codarts University of the Arts, later transferring to Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2019 to study with Jesse van Ruller, Reinier Baas, Martijn van Iterson, Maarten van der Grinten, and many more. Trumpet Lessons For Anybody Who Would Like to Learn! (Amsterdam)

My son has been now been studying with Lachlan for a few months. He had stopped playing trumpet because he schedule got very busy and it was easier for him to just give up. Now he is back playing and loving it. Lachlan is fun and very clear/easy to follow. He is flexible with his teaching and keeps the lessons lively and well paced. My son is happy to make the necessary time for both his lessons and practice. We would strongly recommend Lachlan to anyone and to any level of player

Classical and Jazz Trumpet for anybody who loves music! (Amsterdam)

Can highly recommend Andrea. He was highly passionate about helping me improve and even spent extra time outside the lesson to help me fully grasp a topic or provide some extra material. I came in with pretty specific goals, and he listened to them and adapted the lessons to fit my preferences. On top of all that that his skill and love for the trumpet and jazz is obvious and infectious.

Yu-Ya
Yu-Ya is an excellent teacher. She is nice, patient, and enthusiastic. She chose the pieces according to my level and interests, and she made the practice plan to strengthen my weaknesses. The most impressive part is she pointed out my blindspot and tried different methods to work on my terrible sense of tempo, which works very well. Highly recommended!
