Trusted teacher: Free your voice, do you like jazz, variety, Opera, Musicals? I put my 20 years of know-how at your disposal. I started as a professional singer at the age of 17, I took my first lyric singing lesson at 19, since my beginnings, I have been lucky to be able to benefit from three types of teaching different, lyrical singing, the Richard Cross method for variety and jazz and finally the Musical. Today, I wish to share in a concrete way with you, through real moments of sharing, dynamic lessons, my experiences and the teachings that have been transmitted to me during my years of practice. Together, let's explore all the facets of your voice and open the field (song) of possibilities. I am Alexandra and I am waiting for you for an online course :) I propose an effective method in order to sing without being out of breath, without feeling bullied, I will help you find your "real" voice, by building solid foundations, learn to breathe, find support, position your voice well so that it becomes natural. Then, I introduce a technical base, to be able to successfully interpret your favorite songs, so that you gain confidence in yourself and in your instrument, I develop and I increase your technical capacities so that you can expand your voice, I lay the foundations of music theory, scales, arpeggios, vocal harmonies, vocal precision to broaden your knowledge and your musical vocabulary and so that you can gain skill in performing songs that you previously found difficult. The goal is to be able to give you the satisfaction of having your own musical style, of having complete confidence in your voice and of having perfect control over it in order to be completely autonomous in your practice. NB: Home lessons take place in St Maximin la Ste Baume, for Webcam lessons I use the Zoom software, it is essential to connect with a computer and a good quality headset.

I appreciate her enlightenment of jazz to me. Mandy was very responsible in class, she would begin with some warming–up vocal exercises with us, with explanations about how to do them correctly, and explain the different characteristics of jazz music in detail, such as rhythms, forms, harmony etc. She also paid great attention to examples and communication. After class, Mandy also gave us some useful exercises and taught us to use different devices and APP for practising so that we could better master singing skills. In Mandy, I can see her great passion for music. Besides jazz, Mandy has always been dedicated to combining Eastern and Western cultures. She is a good teacher with passion and heart." - Ally "Mandy practising teacher and a nice person. I've known her for several years. She had taught me a lot with vocal technique and Jazz knowledge. She's very patient and kind when she's teaching students. No matter if we did well or not, she would go through with us over and over again. Meanwhile, Mandy is also a very talented singer and musician. She did a lot of perfect stage performances. She is one of the best singers in China. Although she has already gotten a lot of achievements, she still keeps enterprising and self-disciplined and never stops learning and improving herself." - Baixue "Mandy is a teacher who is particularly good at guiding students. She teaches students following their aptitude and seizes the characteristics of each student. I always feel relaxed and happy in her lessons. Also, I understood all she taught me in the lessons. I highly recommend her!!!" - Grecia "Mandy is a very passionate and patient teacher. I have learned a lot from her singing & music theory lessons. When I encountered problems, she was always willing to help me and patiently answer my questions. She also uses different methods and provides more references to me to think better and learn and comprehend vocal music in the long term. I am very grateful to Ms Chen because I have been greatly motivated to feel the charm of vocal music after having lessons with her, which inspires me to learn and practice more vocal music." - Zoe

Trusted teacher: Hello, my name is Javier. I am a guitarist, composer, sound technician, and music producer. I work professionally, especially in contemporary Jazz. During more than 15 years of experience as a teacher, I have developed several methods and exercises for teaching guitar and music (songs, theory, composition, improvisation, harmony, etc.) for students of all levels and all ages. I have already had students from 6 years old to 74. I believe that the most important thing is that the students manage to find the motivation to practice regularly with the pleasure of progressing. Method: The most common is the use of songs that the student chooses and takes advantage of this to work on more general concepts of music and the guitar which are important to acquire a solid base without bad habits. For more advanced students the learning process is determined together by setting personal goals. The teaching method is totally focused on the individual needs of each student. Students with any level of knowledge in music (self-taught, beginners, advanced ...) are accepted. Interview: 01 - Since when did you develop a passion for music and more particularly for your favorite instrument? - I became interested in the guitar at the age of ten. I had a friend who played "Blackbird" music by The Beatles and I was fascinated. From there, I started to study and I continue to learn today. 02 - What music can you listen to on repeat with the same pleasure (and without going crazy)? - Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. 03 - Tell us about the most difficult or amazing lesson you have given! - It would be a class where I have to explain the major and minor tonality and all its variants in one hour of class. But I will get there! 04 - In your opinion, what is the most complicated instrument to master and why? - It was impossible to answer. Each person has different predispositions. For me to play the piano at a high level would be complicated for the need for independence of the right and left hands. In this sense, the guitar is easier. 05 - What are, for you, the keys to success (apart from those of Sol and Fa)? - Constance, it's always better to practice a little every day than a lot once in a while. Patience, learning an instrument takes time. You have to learn to coordinate the body and the brain and take new paths from time to time. And the most important : Don't be afraid of making mistakes, to learn it is essential to make mistakes and this should not be a reason to stop practicing, on the contrary, it should be a motivation to improve. 06 - Name 3 musicians with whom you would dream of jamming in a bar at 2 a.m. and tell us why! - Tigran Hamasyan, Reinier Baas, Avishai Cohen (bassist) 07 - An anecdote to tell in relation to your job or your schooling (and not necessarily the party you had after entering the Conservatory)? - When I started giving lessons (I was 17), I had a 10-year-old student, when I suggested things to do, he looked me directly in the eye and said: No! But with patience, after a while, I managed to make a connection with him and at the end of the 3 years he played the guitar very well and we became friends. Now he is more or less 25 years old. 08 - What is the little touch that makes you a special teacher adored by all his students? - I am very patient and I always find the best way to explain to each student.

Classical and Jazz Trumpet for anybody who loves music! (Amsterdam)
Andrea
Can highly recommend Andrea. He was highly passionate about helping me improve and even spent extra time outside the lesson to help me fully grasp a topic or provide some extra material. I came in with pretty specific goals, and he listened to them and adapted the lessons to fit my preferences. On top of all that that his skill and love for the trumpet and jazz is obvious and infectious.

Trombone and Piano Teacher. (Good Level Experience) (Maastricht)
Yu-Ya
Yu-Ya is an excellent teacher. She is nice, patient, and enthusiastic. She chose the pieces according to my level and interests, and she made the practice plan to strengthen my weaknesses. The most impressive part is she pointed out my blindspot and tried different methods to work on my terrible sense of tempo, which works very well. Highly recommended!

Guitar and music theory classes. Online lessons also (Amsterdam)
Pedro
Pedro is really experienced and flexible teacher with a big repertoir and a variety of music styles. We focused on jazz guitar and learned standard compositions. Pedro was able to find good examples and songs for what I needed to learn and adjusted them for our lessons. It certainly boosted my jazz guitar skills and getting started with improvising.
