Trinity/ABRSM curriculum upto Grade 8, can also be optionally included. Teaching effective practice methods is a priority, ensuring students progress confidently and without leaning on me. Please note, I only teach in person to maintain high standards of guidance in technique. This is not possible via video conferencing. Since everyone asks: yes, I did study at Berklee College of Music as an undergraduate for some time, and I do help students out with their audition preparation for various music colleges! Currently, my students are between 14 and 44 years old— I believe that it’s never too late or too early to begin your musical journey. However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in! This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano. In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP! Lessons can be in English or Dutch. So who am I? In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege. Yuvraj is a wonderful teacher! I've been studying piano for half a year with him, and the progress never stops. He teaches everything that you need to be a pianist, including the technique, classical theory, jazz theory, as well as how to find good new songs. Within the few months that I've had him, he quickly took me from having zero practical music knowledge to being able to read and play Trinity grade 3 songs on my own. Yuvraj always tries to make piano something fun and enjoyable, rather than just another annoying thing to grind all the time. This is the guy for those who want to learn with a relaxed, slow and steady attitude. Even better if you're down to challenge yourself with new, unconventional music that you might not expect. While I don't really have anything to compare him to, I am very happy learning piano with Yuvraj.

Can highly recommend Andrea. He was highly passionate about helping me improve and even spent extra time outside the lesson to help me fully grasp a topic or provide some extra material. I came in with pretty specific goals, and he listened to them and adapted the lessons to fit my preferences. On top of all that that his skill and love for the trumpet and jazz is obvious and infectious.
