I have a university degree in economics and have worked for over 20 years in several companies, building good relationships with colleagues and clients. In my mid-30s, I joined an art college and completed a master's degree in Art Studies. I am currently enrolled in a graduate program, writing my doctoral thesis on Spanish paintings. I also work as a university tutor helping students with their studies. Based on my experience, I can offer lessons for everyday life, business or office, academic contexts like university classes, and so on. The basic style of my lessons is mainly conversational, sharing and discussing experiences and knowledge on a variety of topics such as everyday events, work and study, cultural and scientific events, news articles, etc. The major goal is for you to master and be able to use expressions appropriate to the context and to be able to understand correctly what others say (what is written), and to convey your ideas and thoughts more effectively. To achieve this, I also focus on grammatical structures and patterns, if necessary. Learning about sentence structure will also help you to understand what the other person says (or writes) correctly. And I can also support those who want to enjoy essays or novels written in Japanese. Reading texts written by Japanese also gives you an insight into our culture and way of thinking and allows you to learn more vocabulary and expressions and how to use them effectively. If there’s a specific text you’d like to read, let me know. Lastly, lessons are conducted in Japanese, but I can also understand English, although not fluently, so you can use English if you have difficulty expressing yourself in Japanese. I have experience teaching kids to adults. Also, It would be a great chance for you to learn business Japanese as I used to work in an IT company. Furthermore, I love singing. Currently, I’ve been learning musical theatre and acting. I'm keen on art such as music, film, theatre, and photography. Hopefully, we could talk about what you love! Regarding my lesson, We could learn from the characters. After getting used to it, we could use simple scripts to practice speaking and learn useful phrases. At times, we could play games, listen to Japanese music, read the news, etc. I have 4 years of teaching experience. On my university dates, I taught Japanese and other subjects to children from primary to secondary school, which was ideally suited for me. *My methodology Expand your vocabulary -Checking if you understand how to read characters in games Repetition -Giving you homework to make sure you could use new vocabs and phrases properly Speaking -Practicing speaking with simple conversational scripts Book lessons with me as we can discuss your goals and how I can help you reach them. After the first lesson, just let me know your thoughts, and we could continue to study together if you are up for it. Normally, from the second lesson, I will give you some homework. Moreover, your level will be checked with N5 or N4 sample tests. I would recommend you take lessons at least 1 or 2 per week at least. My classes take place in a relaxed and caring atmosphere, I am in opposition to the strict-rigid framework of some schools In class, we combine learning grammar (a crucial and comforting foundation for beginners) with numerous practical exercises and role-playing exercises so that the student can manage on their own in the real world.
