Visual Artist, Architect, Teacher of Art. ENG In general, my main aim as a teacher is to introduce to my students the most significant works of art, from many different cultures and periods in the history of art, through a series of excercises. Throught those excercises, my students have the opportunity to get to know different techniques and use a wide range of materials (painting, drawing, collage, 3dimensinal structures). They are able also to grow the ability to combine elements and forms, to develop synthetical skills and motor skills. Equally important, is that they can discover a new “alphabet”, a new language to express themselfves creatively, in an atmosphere that encourages them to form a personality, able to appreciate art. I also use various movement/improvisation techniques and excersices which encourage space and body involvement. I work with all age groups, children, teens & adults. Everyone is welcome, as experience is ,off course, NOT required....

My name is Anita, and I am an interdisciplinary neurodivergent artist. I combine traditional and unconventional teaching methods with an innovative approach, adapted to the fast-paced era we live in, where attention spans can be short. My teaching integrates principles of psychology to better understand each student’s unique needs and aspirations. My goal is to nurture visionary children who have strong foundational values and a humble sense of self. I believe that true artistic mastery comes from human excellence. Also, in this way, students develop true self-confidence by evaluating their success based on personal progress rather than comparing themselves to others. This course is especially recommended for neurodivergent children (with Autism Level 1 - Asperger's Syndrome, ADHD, OCD, Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Hypersensitivity, and Anxiety) with multiple interests who struggle to choose, focus on, and manage various subjects. It helps develop both technique and discipline, enabling them to navigate multiple creative fields—essentially putting their eggs in several baskets while honing the skills necessary for diverse career opportunities in an uncertain job market. The program encourages a generalist mindset, promoting versatility without compromising creative integrity. Students will learn to refine their Zoom In/Zoom Out perspective, gaining the ability to see both the bigger picture and the finer details of any subject. The program's structure guides the individuals through three essential phases: Exploration Phase–Presentations, visual games, and foundational lessons introduce students to various disciplines, helping them discover their interests. Development Phase–They start defining their creative goals, practicing their skills, and trying out various artistic approaches. Mastery Phase - With a clear direction, students focus on long-term goals, whether as brand-focused professionals, university students, or future educators. Disciplines covered include architecture, painting, illustration, concept design (especially for gaming), animation, digital art, children's book illustration, film, writing, and music (singing & songwriting). A Purposeful, Transparent Approach I work closely with each student, providing honest yet supportive evaluations to help identify their strengths. My goal is to guide serious and passionate learners and not to mislead families into unnecessary expenses. I strive to be straightforward in a respectful and encouraging manner, communicating if a child may not be suited for this path. A Valuable Investment in Thinking & Creativity Even if a student ultimately chooses a non-artistic career, this course fosters critical and creative thinking, which are essential skills for any field. The knowledge gained here is never wasted; it’s an investment in adaptability, innovation, and problem-solving abilities that transcend the arts.

Noemi
I have had two lessons with Noemi and I am looking forward to many more. We spent a significant amount of time in the first lesson discussing and clarifying my goals as well as the artists I admire. She asked great questions, really digging into what I am seeking to do and be. I could tell right away that she wanted to understand my motivations and what I am looking for in a tutor. Noemi has been easy to talk to, open and responsive to my thoughts and concerns. She spoke to me as a peer, a fellow traveler seeking to understand more about art. I appreciate this, as it has not been my experience with other teachers. (They were not interested in what I already know). Noemi has been enthusiastic, insightful, intuitive and has set clear expectations. I appreciate the thoughtfulness she has put into creating follow up documents that detail what we reviewed in the previous lesson, including print screens of examples of art work to help me along. She is great!

Teacher of French as a foreign language - personalized private courses (Ixelles-Elsene)
Cécile
Cécile is a responsive teacher who uses an interactive and structured approach. She listened to my needs and was attentive to my level, tailoring lessons to how and where i can best make progress. The strength I am most impressed by is her ability to identify where exactly I'm having issues, and to work around those needs and structure homework in a way that best exercises it.
