Before and during my teaching years, I gave private lessons and tutored children who wanted to prepare for French exams, who could not read, or who wanted to learn ancient Greek. Then I went on a world tour. Traveling for three years, I met on my way families who traveled around the world, others who had settled abroad and were schooling at home and I also approached other teaching methods such as the Waldorf method (Steiner). I offer tutoring for your child in French, history-geography, English and/or Spanish. I am also able to offer an opening to science and art. I am aware of the difficulties presented by schooling at home and while traveling and myself introduced to various innovative educational practices and open to the world, I am an exciting resource for your child. I particularly like project-based teaching, so why not build learning with your child based on carrying out projects based on what they experience at home or while traveling? Teaching is done online using Zoom. I am Rubén, a recent PhD in Archaeology by the University of Leicester with extensive experience teaching in academia for the last 6 years. I have taught American and UK students over the last seven years, whilst pursuing my studies in Spain and in the United Kingdom. I was recently awarded my PhD, through which I developed methodological aspects of teaching different types of public from different backgrounds.
