Certified Classics teacher, I taught French and Latin in middle school for eight years at all levels, namely high-potential, dyslexic or struggling children or non-French-speaking children from various cultures. Before and during my teaching years, I gave private lessons and tutored children who wanted to prepare for French exams, who could not read, or who wanted to learn ancient Greek. Then I went on a world tour. Traveling for three years, I met on my way families who traveled around the world, others who had settled abroad and were schooling at home and I also approached other teaching methods such as the Waldorf method (Steiner). I offer tutoring for your child in French, history-geography, English and/or Spanish. I am also able to offer an opening to science and art. I am aware of the difficulties presented by schooling at home and while traveling and myself introduced to various innovative educational practices and open to the world, I am an exciting resource for your child. I particularly like project-based teaching, so why not build learning with your child based on carrying out projects based on what they experience at home or while traveling? Teaching is done online using Zoom. During the first lesson, we get to know each other and I take note of your expectations and needs as well as your child's personality, his tastes and desires and the framework in which you want this teaching to take place. The qualities of organization, rigor, kindness, adaptability and creativity that are mine have allowed me to successfully teach all types of audiences and I look forward to being able to build a personalized course with your child !

I have been tutoring since September and have thoroughly enjoyed helping my KS2 students in working on their English skills in preparation for both SATS and 11+. Following achieving my GCSE results, I now feel more prepared to move onto a larger range of subjects. I am passionate about helping students to do the best that they can and to reach their potential. It is hugely rewarding to see progress being made. I achieved 10 GCSE grades, with a grade 9 in English Literature, Language, History and Religious Studies, a grade 8 in Geography and an average grade of 7.5 across the board. All my grades were the equivalent of A* to B, the majority being A* and A equivalent. I believe that the best way to teach is through gathering and creating a large range of resources to ensure that all necessary content is being covered and that content is being accessed through a variety of mediums that will allow for it to be learnt and understood quickly. Furthermore, at this level, working with examination questions is essential. It is vital that students familiarise themselves with mark schemes and I will make sure to teach students how questions are marked, ensuring that the right structures are used too. Communication with parents is also key and I would deliver this through weekly or bi-weekly bulletins for groups and parent emails and phone calls too. Finally, I would focus on revision methods and make sure that you have access to a range of strategies that will make your learning experience more enjoyable, engaging and successful. As a Law student at a Russel Group University, I cannot stress enough the importance of quintessential essay writing skills no matter which subject one wishes to pursue. I sympathise with the fact that all students are different and hence learn in different manners, therefore as I become more acquainted with each of my students I begin to structure their tutoring around their abilities and what learning methods best suit them. Having achieved two A*s and an A at A-levels in History, Politics, and Psychology I can confidently say that I have discovered several writing skills and tips that can be applied to all subjects and I will use my own revision methods to help my students achieve what I know they can achieve. I spent my last year of Sixth Form guiding my own cohort in these subjects and provided them with material to help them revise and improve their essay structures. As the Deputy Head of my school I have experience with younger students and understand the importance of communication with them to make them feel heard in their learning. Therefore, not only am I keen to help GCSE and A-level students but I am also offering classes for younger years in order to build their essay-writing foundations. My lessons will include going over the student's exam board content, setting essay questions for them to complete, and marking and providing feedback on what they have written for me. Learning is a process and slowly but surely I believe each student can achieve greatness.
