Having achieved two A*s and an A at A-levels in History, Politics, and Psychology I can confidently say that I have discovered several writing skills and tips that can be applied to all subjects and I will use my own revision methods to help my students achieve what I know they can achieve. I spent my last year of Sixth Form guiding my own cohort in these subjects and provided them with material to help them revise and improve their essay structures. As the Deputy Head of my school I have experience with younger students and understand the importance of communication with them to make them feel heard in their learning. Therefore, not only am I keen to help GCSE and A-level students but I am also offering classes for younger years in order to build their essay-writing foundations. My lessons will include going over the student's exam board content, setting essay questions for them to complete, and marking and providing feedback on what they have written for me. Learning is a process and slowly but surely I believe each student can achieve greatness.
