After having agreed on the pieces / songs to be worked on, the relevant score is shared and given at the lesson. The teacher goes through it, while he also plays it live to the pupil for even more reach. He then explains what needs to be clarified in order to prepare any homework. Finally, Alex creates a video tutorial about the piece or song that needs to be learned for the next lesson. This gives extra support when practising at home, in order to avoid any doubt and keep motivation up. A report is then created to keep track of what has been done as well as what needs to be worked on, in order to unlock technical requirements and complete a specific repertoire in a constructive and efficient way. Alex teaches in Rotterdam at home or at the pupil's own location ; lessons are in Dutch, English or French, for all ages and levels. When I turned 17 I really started to like classical Spanish music, playing the likes of Francisco Tárrega and Antonio de Lucena. For the past few years I have focused more on guitarists like John Mayer, Eric Clapton, Jason Mraz and other more mainstream western-style artists. With 14 years of experience playing solo and in a band, and 6 years of teaching experience at high schools and universities, I am convinced I can teach you a thing or two about the 6-string ;). If you are interested in learning any of these styles, or you just want to get started on the basics, I would love to help you become the guitarist you want to be! Da adolescente amavo il rock e il metal e passavo ore e ore a esercitarmi per diventare più bravo e suonare quei fantastici assoli di chitarra. Alex is the best guitar teacher ever for me! Not only he knows exactly how to guide a student according to his level ,he has so many different approaches for each individual students, I don’t have a lot of time to practice as a busy mom with a 3 year old kid, but some how he found a method really adapted my rhythm and make me grow every lesson I have without practicing at all;but also he is a very kind teacher, every time I feel like I’m having a lesson with an old friend:)) would highly recommend Alex to anyone who would like to take a guitar lesson from all levels!

David is a brilliant and enthusiastic guitarist. His passion for the instrument and his skill make him a truly excellent teacher, helping the student to assimilate the correct technique for the classical guitar. During the lesson he also gives information on music theory, which is very useful in the study of pieces and he left me scores of pieces to study for the next lesson, which I really appreciated. Thanks to his lessons, I have regained enthusiasm for playing this instrument and been motivated to study it more and more. I really recommend him!

Je prends des cours d’indonésien avec Petra depuis deux mois et elle m’a fait progresser rapidement. Toujours souriante, à l’heure, elle prend le temps de bien expliquer les choses et la méthode d'apprentissage qu’elle propose est vraiment efficace.
