Trusted teacher: I am currently teaching German on a one on one base through individualized online teaching via zoom or any other online platform. I teach German grammar as well as conversational German and German for business and/or research. Please don't hesitate contact me to find out more about my teachings by asking questions and letting me know about your goals and concerns. I not only speak German as my mother tongue, but I also have excellent English skills and have taught adults and children in Japan, the USA and France. While living in Japan, I taught English to biologists of a biotech-company. For this purpose, I prepared current newspaper articles corresponding to the interests of the students and the teaching objectives for the classes. In class, the students and I used these articles to study the language, discuss the vocabulary and grammar as well as the language style used. In New York, I did not teach a language, but fashion design at the University (FIT Fashion Institute of Technology, NYC) for several years. All classes were taught in English with the student body consisting of international students, which required detailed preparation of the class. At the High School of Fashion Industries (HSFI), also in NYC, I taught fashion design and creation to students grade 9 - 12. Here too, the lessons were exclusively taught in English. For my teachings, I developed daily detailed lesson plans to not only make sure that the predetermined class goals were easily reached, but also to ensure that the class content was tailored to the students' needs and that a positive learning climate was promoted.

Trusted teacher: Hello interested students! I offer German classes for all ages and levels of proficiency. My goal is to help students learn the language in a fun and effective way. I assign homework after every lesson and provide rich teaching material. I am here to keep you motivated on the rewarding path of learning German. Whether it is for work, school, university or out of personal interest, I can support you! I also specialize in preparing official language exams. More concretely, my specialties are: - Beginners: structured learning of grammar you need right away and practice of new knowledge in our dialogues. Vocabulary is taught through our conversations and in word groups. - A1-B2 exam preparation (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages): based on practice material by the Goethe Institute, innumerous websites and own material - Learning by conversation: you can’t stand looking at too much grammar because it’s just not for you? The answer: talk and type! We’ll share a document with all our dialogues. - Refresher training: I can help you get back on track by letting you talk as much as possible. We can also go through grammar and conversation topics that you need to revise. The day of getting rid of pesky repetitive mistakes has come! You are lucky since brushing up on your German with me will be fun! - Children: they can be the most demanding students regarding learning methods, but I know how to capture their attention and make them excited for more German! Structure of lessons: From experience I know that continuity is key. Therefore, I encourage you to do a little (almost) every day. At the end of each level there will be a test to check if you are ready for the next level! I am looking forward to meeting you ! .

Trusted teacher: Möchten Sie Deutsch lernen? If you've always dreamed of saying “Guten Tag” with a mischievous smile, these courses are the perfect opportunity for you to dive into the fascinating world of the German language! 🇩🇪 I can provide academic support for children, as well as individual lessons for professionals or anyone else interested. In Besançon or by video. Usually, I teach a multitude of subjects in alternation, putting priority on the student's wishes. Together we will break through the tangled maze of German grammar brilliantly. 🇩🇪 And to brighten up the lessons, I have a lot of tracks in my repertoire such as humorous poems by J. Ringelnatz or songs. Also, I always find it pleasant to support beginners in their first steps. 🤗📚 My arsenal? An online portal with links and materials that I personalize for each student and a mind map at the beginning to present all the themes I propose. I will send you on request. Some exercises I did myself, often with the help of AI. I can recommend some nifty software and give you incentives so that you can continue learning very effectively yourself. And inspire you to learn the long works of Goethe and Schiller with new vivacity. 💡 My particular passion is German compound words, a real linguistic puzzle! How would you translate Handschuh = "shoe of the hands", Zebrastreifen = "zebra strips", Dachboden = "roof floor" or Friedhof = "court of peace. And for the advances, what is it about with the " Aufmerksamkeitsdefizit-Hyperaktivitätssyndrom"? (I will send you answers on request (; ) 🤓🇩🇪 For the curious, what concerns your teacher: Born in Northern Germany and since 2020 in Besançon. Graduate in geography. I have already taught German in various projects in Togo and Kyrgyzstan. I have already taught German in various projects in Togo and Kyrgyzstan. In Besançon, I worked as a German teacher for the "Maison Blanche Formation", a language school for professionals and for the Scops association. 🌍👨‍🏫 The lessons can take place in my apartment in the city center of Besançon, at the student's home, against a possible travel expense depending on the distance or by video. And surprise, I also provide academic support in mathematics, English or multi-subjects. 🎓💻🗣️ So, ready for an extraordinary linguistic adventure? Johannes, the spell master is waiting for you! Prost (that's "cheers" in German) and see you soon! 🌈👋 Johannes

Fashion Design, Pattern Making, Draping, Sewing, Couture Finishing and Embroidery Tutoring (Paris)
Brigitte
I absolutely adore my time spent with Brigitte. Not only is she an incredibly skilled sewing instructor, but she also goes above and beyond in imparting her wealth of knowledge about the fashion industry, fabrics, and materials. This aspect has been invaluable to me, considering my lack of formal education in fashion. Brigitte's expertise shines through as she generously shares extra insights from textbooks, which have proven particularly beneficial in my endeavors, such as creating corsets and stays. Moreover, her guidance extends beyond mere craftsmanship; she educates on the importance of accurately pricing garments to ensure profitability—a testament to her comprehensive approach. Thanks to her mentorship, I've experienced significant growth and am eagerly looking forward to advancing further under her tutelage.

Learn or improve your French in a relaxed and creative way (The Hague)
Clémentine
My first lesson with Clementine was really enjoyable and I learned a lot in a short time. She was very well organised and had appropriate learning material even though it was my first lesson. She made me feel relaxed and asked many questions about what and how I would like to learn so she could tailor the lessons to my needs.

German language course for all ages from children to adults! (Wurzburg)
Rebekka
Rebecca was our kids first online German teacher. She easily built trust with our shy 9-year-old, managed to keep her interested in the lessons by caring about what our daughter liked and was flexible and supportive with our specific study goals. We would like to have some offline lessons once we are in the same town :)
