My goal is to ensure you gain confidence in speaking and understanding French through practical, real-world usage. There are so many ways to learn—if you have specific preferences, we can explore them too! 🧒 I also offer French classes for children and toddlers, using playful and hands-on methods inspired by the Montessori approach. Through games, songs, sensory activities, and storytelling, little ones can discover the French language in a warm, nurturing environment that respects their rhythm and curiosity. 📍 Recommended frequency: At least 2 hours per week for steady progress – but this is flexible depending on your needs. 📍 Flexible scheduling: Available during the day or in the evening, as I’m a freelance journalist. Angélique is an amazing teacher, I have been having lessons with her for the last couple of years. One of her strongest assets is that she pays attention to the needs of each individual student. For myself, I was interested to improve my oral skills, communication and vocabulary (alongside learning the necessary grammar) and I have seen such an improvement. Lessons are nicely structured and with a variation of activities, again paying attention to the needs of the student. Angélique is also really good with the communication. Lessons are always pleasant and enjoyable, which can make a difference in student's motivation. I wish I had more teachers with such positive attitude and motivation when I was younger.

It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)
