Trusted teacher: Hi, my name is Amélie, I'm French, from the North of France. For the past 9 years I lived in Montreal, in the beautiful province of Québec in Canada and I recently moved to Seoul. So if you are interested in the Canadian culture, I'll be happy to teach you ;) I have been teaching French online for few years now from beginners to advanced and helped some students prepare for the TEF/DELF exams. My main goal is to help you achieve your own learning goals. So the class is really custom made, according to your needs and adapted to your level, whether you want to focus on conversation, grammar practice, listening or reading comprehension, it will also be adapted to your interests. All types of material will be available, like newspaper articles, novels, TV series, youtube video etc.. We will really work according to theme that you enjoy. Because learning a language should not be a burden but on the contrary be a fun time. I know exactly what it's like to learn a new language, the difficulties that you can encounter, all the efforts that are required, but also the fear of talking to people in the beginning, having myself learn English and Spanish to reach a proficiency level. And I've also been learning Korean for the past 3 years now. Also, since I have some experience in language learning, in addition to our classes, that are either once or several times a week, I definitely recommend self-study. So if you're down, I will give you writing and reading exercises to do, regardless of the level you are at, and I will correct those and we can discuss together at the beginning of each class. Trusted teacher: Coucou! Hello everyone! Ciao a tutti! こんにちは! Guten Tag:) I love teaching languages because I love learning them myself. For me, learning a language requires patience, willingness and joy. I also believe that learning something new in French every day is better than learning too much in a single day. I also think that you must use every new word you learn, by interacting and speaking as much as you can. For this reason, each of my lessons always includes all 5 skills according to the CEFR: - Spoken Production: e.g. I encourage learners to introduce themselves and speak about their main interests without being interrupted. - Listening: e.g. I integrate songs, interviews, lectures according to the learner's goals. - Reading: e.g. articles, film reviews, parts of books and news. - Writing: e.g. formal and informal letters and e-mails, personal accounts, journals. -Spoken Interaction: I always spend time in conversation with the student, at the beginning and the end of the lesson, in order to improve her/his fluency and confidence. I also encourage (but not force!^^) students to do exercises on their own too, so that they are more prepared for the following lesson. I am patient and comprehensive, and I organize my lessons according to the learners' interests and personal goals. From A2- B1 level onwards, I try to speak only in French.

Very clear as to what his teaching methods and goals are, how he'll help you get there - then jumps right in and gets you started with no fuss. I found myself speaking sentences in Wolof by the end of the lesson, and really appreciate the additional written material he supplied as well. As someone who has taught and learned various other languages I can tell that Dembane has a really sound methodology. I'll add to this review in a few months time, but so far I am impressed. Also glad that he is pointing out regional differences between Senegal and Gambia usage to me, as it's relevant to my learning needs. He does personalise the content for the individual student, which is good to see.
