We talk in English from the very first lesson and tailor our lessons to suit your needs. All levels and ages, both online and in person! Our lessons are adapted to your needs. We can focus on basic grammar and vocabulary, or start from scratch. On the other hand, we can also work together to prepare for official exams and deal with more complicated situations. Improving business English is also a possibility, as I have previous experience in that area. During our lessons we will mainly use online resources, personalized activities and powerpoint. You will get some homework every lesson, so that you can further internalize what we have seen in class. The lessons can last 1 to 2 hours, depending on personal preference and availability. They are held once or twice a week. I graduated in English Studies, where we studied General English, Morphology, Culture and Literature. In addition, I also have a Master's degree in Language Teaching, which gave me all the tools necessary to teach. I am currently studying a PhD in English Literature at the University of Lleida. I have over 10 years of experience teaching English, plus experience teaching Spanish. I have had both face-to-face and online lessons, both in large and small groups and for individual students. I have taught from kindergarten to older students and have adapted the lessons to their levels and needs. I have also taught business English, conversation courses and exam-oriented lessons.

I'm an English literature graduate who loves learning new languages because I believe that in any nation there's an astonishing culture and history that we can only touch it closely and feel it through learning the language . Holding a class never feels like a burden to me, as it is a hobby that I have the opportunity to share what I know and help at least some people in the road they have stepped in and also learn variety of GK from people. It is mostly based on the student's learning history, their goal and how much they can put afford to study and devote time to learn. In general, I can say that I'm against translation learning and I'm hugely a fan of task based and speaking based teaching. I'm really fond of using Oxford books as my sources!

It is always a pleasure to meet Phil for our weekly online French classes. He is a patient and kind teacher and always full of energy for our class. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. I woulf highly recommend Phil if you are looking for a French tutor :)

Robin
Robin is an exceptional native speaker teacher, very profesional and dedicated. My daugthers and wife attend his online classes regularly. He is a very educated person who cares about the student's learning. He prepares his classes conscientiously and precisely, adapted to the needs of the students. They focus mainly in improving their conversation skills. Robin is also very flexible as he has frequently adapted his lessons to fit into our other family activites. We really appreciate. We are very happy and fully recommend Robin as English teacher!!
