This class is the perfect way to get your child to where they want to be academically. Mathematics, English, and Science are available up to GCSE level, at which many exam boards are available. After lockdown, many kids are struggling across the country and tutoring is the ultimate way to catch them back up to speed. For all subjects available, classes are designed with the goal of making sure students understand the content rather than remembering them which gives them the upper hand in their final exam. This involves regular homework which will be marked outside of classtime, but will be reviewed with the student in the class to help outline and learn from mistakes. English: The English classes are specifically made to help improve reading comprehension and writing abilities, from creative to analytical writing. These skills are essential for success in GCSE English Literature and Language across any exam board. There are also English Classes available for kids sitting their SAT's and 11+ exams. The classes are designed to improve English profiency and prepare them for success in their final exams. Maths: Math is widely seen as an extremely difficult subject, especially amongst young children. These classes are perfect for building a student's understanding of Math rather than helping them simply remember formulas. Classes often dive into why math works, rather than just how math works to help solidify the student's understanding of what their learning. Math classes are available for all student's up to GCSE level. Science: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics are some of the most difficult subjects at GCSE level. There are classes for Combined Science and Triple Science available and are recommended for anybody preparing for GCSE Science exams. Parts of speech are the fundamental building blocks of language that help us understand how words function in a sentence. There are eight main parts of speech: 1. Noun: A noun is a word that names a person, place, thing, or idea. For example, "cat," "London," and "happiness" are all nouns. 2. Pronoun: A pronoun is a word that replaces a noun to avoid repetition. Examples include "he," "she," "it," and "they." 3. Verb: A verb is a word that expresses an action, state, or occurrence. It tells what the subject of the sentence does or is. Examples of verbs are "run," "eat," and "think." 4. Adjective: An adjective is a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun. It gives more information about the noun or pronoun. For instance, "blue," "tall," and "delicious" are adjectives. 5. Adverb: An adverb is a word that modifies a verb, adjective, or another adverb. It provides information about how, when, where, or to what extent something happens. Examples are "quickly," "very," and "often." 6. Preposition: A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and other words in the sentence. It indicates location, time, direction, or other spatial relationships. Common prepositions include "in," "on," "under," and "after." 7. Conjunction: A conjunction is a word that connects words, phrases, or clauses in a sentence. Some common conjunctions are "and," "but," "or," and "because." 8. Interjection: An interjection is a word or phrase used to express strong feelings or emotions. It stands alone and is not grammatically connected to the rest of the sentence. Examples include "wow," "ouch," and "bravo." Understanding the different parts of speech is essential for constructing grammatically correct and coherent sentences. By identifying the role of each word, we can communicate more effectively and clearly.

Trusted teacher: I've completed my GCSEs a little over a year ago , I'm on here to fund myself in the future (primarily university) . I've averaged above an A (above grade 7) overall with recent experience and am still attending sixth form . Because of this I'll be able to easily relate to and figure out the needs of my tutee as I was in their position not too long ago . I myself studied based on topic rather than necessarily textbooks , this means that I can make due with any textbook or other material (this accounts for difference in exam boards). I can teach a concept from the ground up , or to solidify knowledge on topics as well as teach the basic principles for understanding the topic in the first place . I'm especially good at understanding and taking advantage of mark schemes to maximise grades , despite if the topic is completely unbeknownst to you . Though this seems minor , this tactic means you'll almost never score zero marks on a question . Ergo : if you can do half of the questions on a 100 mark test you'll get around 50 marks (high C to low B grade , grade 5 to 6) however even without understanding the rest it's easy to get at least another 15 marks up to around 25 (you usually cannot get over half marks without getting close to the answer , which is why half the remaining marks is a typical maximum) putting your grade up to to a minimum of a strong B or a maximum of a solid A (min of a grade 6 and max of grade 8) all of which requires minimal work which you won't forget . In English a similar thing can be done with punctuation , so long as you use a type of punctuation once ; you can score easy additional marks and get more marks on other criteria due to the examiner's bias . This is my forté .
