In addition to private coaching, I also work for an online ESL company delivering English lessons to children across a range of age groups. In addition, I also work as an ESL proofreader and IELTS private tutor here in The Hague. I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have a CELTA qualification. Prior to a career in ESL English teaching, I worked in the UK national press for the Times and Financial Times newspapers. It was there I developed my proofreading and communications skills. In my spare time, I write articles for magazines and have had feature stories published in The Telegraph magazine, The Daily Mail and a number of health magazines. I have also written two language books. The first, 'I Already Speak Speak French!' is an illustrated book for children that covers the etymology of many English words to their French origin (attached is a sample of it for your interest!). It has been translated for the French market into, 'I Already Speak English!' The second book is called, 'Learn Business English FAST!' which draws on a teaching methodology used for effective, fast learning that I used whilst teaching English for the international company, GoFluent.

I've had different Spanish teachers but Tanya is by far the best for several reasons: - Tanya makes a personal plan together with me which fits perfectly with my learning goals. So no unnecessary grammar but only things whichs helps me with my reason why I approached her - She developed her own personal learning style which helps me making huge steps in a short time - Tanya shows she's well prepared and the work we do and the homework I get is always in extend of the things I want to learn - Besides that she's always happy and a nice person to chat with Quick sumarry: if you want to learn Spanish in a good/fast way with a teacher who is always happy, I would highly recommend Tanya :)

After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Where I previously felt very subconscious and unable to answer questions, i have now been able to answer difficult IB exams questions with ease. Benson provided me a safe and comfortable environment which has left me excited for my next class at school to show what i have learned with a fresh confidence! Even though I'm married to a US citizen and have been speaking English at home and work for years, I felt I was no longer improving until I started regular lessons with Tom. The lessons are incredibly helpful. I am very much interested in improving my grasp of idiom and usage. Tom is very good at finding my mistakes and helping me to improve my English. He's also very reliable, and he's flexible regarding the timings of the meetings. It's a fun experience, and I highly recommend Tom!
