Currently I teach English at all levels and all ages in Spain, by webcam as well. I have taught English in Portugal and Spain, young and old, also preparing students for the Cambridge, FCE, CAE and CPE exams, with excellent results. My main objective is the development of speaking, pronunciation and fluency skills, both with children and adults. That is why I use the direct method and the communicative method. I really enjoy training people of all ages and different levels. As a teacher, I try to understand the learning style and interests of each of my students. My classes are well structured, but they are also fun, I integrate different activities and teaching techniques in order to reach all students. I use a variety of learning sources: books, additional material, multimedia and create a warm and friendly environment in the class paying attention to the individual development of each student. I am patient, loving and positive, I plan well-thought-out interactive activities, which I guide properly while giving much freedom. For adults I offer conversation classes, using the direct method, which will help students be confident and fluent in speaking English fairly quickly, even if they don't have time to study hard. I also offer English for business, English for travel, interviews, work, and help with CVs, cover letters, speeches or presentations of research papers. In webcam classes (Skype for example) I offer structured material, upload PDF documents, text and grammar exercises, as well as links to listening practices. Phil is interested in a wide range of topics, so we always have something to talk about based on an article he selected as 'homework'. What I really appreciate about his way of teaching is that he corrects me during our conversation without breaking the flow of our talk, so I can really feel my confidence in speaking French increasing each class. After my first lesson with Benson, i have felt more confidence in my skills with chemistry than i have in many years. Awni is a wonderful instructor! He is very patient, will answer any question you can think of, and can have a laugh with you during lessons as well! His lessons are very helpful and structured, he is willing to go at your pace and repeat or go over things as many times as needed. It is very evident he is professional and has more than enough education and knowledge to teach the language very thoroughly!! I would highly recommend to take him as a teacher!
