Previously, I served as a sales manager for a travel agency in both Mexico and California. For lessons, I begin with a diagnostic session to understand your goals, needs, and interests. This is basically an evaluation so I can see what your "wants and needs" are, as well as your goals, requirements, interests, and we'll go from there. At the end of the first session I will give you an estimate as to the timeline needed to reach your objectives. My teaching methodologies include L1-L2, Grammar, Direct Method, Communicative Approach, Eclectic Approach, Intensive Conversational Method, and Role-Play Workshops (especially useful for practicing job interviews and presentations). I specialize in General English, Business English, IELTS, and English for healthcare professionals. Typically, it takes two to three months to reach C1 level from B1-B2. With a Masters Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Second Language, Yimer is obviously very qualified but he also has a gift of teaching that is very effective in making progress on the learning journey. Part of this has to be in his patience and being a teacher that has a way of explaining things, both in English and Spanish, that make learning easier. I have had quite a few Spanish tutors over the years but Yimer, is clearly the best.

Sandra is an excellent teacher - she's extremely knowledgeable of spanish grammar and vocabulary, and is very good at explaining difficult concepts in a simple way. She clearly put a lot of effort into every lesson, which resulted in me improving quite a lot in just a few lessons. Best of all she's a great person who is fun to talk with. Every class was truly enjoyable.
